Good one, my missus loves NIN sooo much. When we got together all those years ago it was enjoyment of them and other good music that was one of those things that made for a great time. If you can enjoy music with someone in a relationship, it can make things so much better, not just in bed.

Trent Reznor put everything he has made up on the Pirate Bay, cos he found out how much record companies were making off the music. He still sells stuff, usually limited editions and things, stuff fans are willing to pay for, including stuff like photos, footage, artwork, so you are buying more than a song. Thats the way music will end up going. That and paying for live music. Everything else is gonna end up free, and even if the net goes, unless something completely catastrophic happens, then over the next 20 years thats how things will go. In fact if the net goes it might actually be a good thing, it might inspire us to get back that old spirit whjere people were innovative and did stuff for themselves - like a decentralised independant network. Sorry this belongs somewhere else.
