Brit Military police chief found dead in Iraq

Another paper called it suicide..<br><br>"Military police chief found dead<br><br>The senior military police investigator in Iraq has been found dead at the British base in Basra, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said. <br><br><br><br>The MoD said an inquiry was under way but the circumstances were not regarded as suspicious.<br>Captain Masters, who was 40 and married with two children, had served with the Royal Military Police since 1981.<br><br><br><br>"He had been responsible for the investigation of all in-theatre serious incidents, plus investigations conducted by the General Police Duties element of the Theatre Investigation Group."<br><br><br><br>He added: "Quite often they are with British frontline forces when they go on searches and such like, and they would have been doing some of the investigations into cases against British forces on behalf of Iraqi civilians."<br><br><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK START--><a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4347950.stm">news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_po...347950.stm</a><!--EZCODE AUTOLINK END--><br> <p></p><i></i>

His body was found on Saturday evening.<br><br>An army colleague is said to have made the grim discovery in Waterloo Lines camp within the main British military base at Basra airport.<br><br>Ministry of Defence sources said last night it is not believed Capt Masters had left a suicide note and it is not yet known how he died. The Ministry of Defence confirmed the captain was "responsible for investigating all in-theatre serious incidents". Well, well, well, The THEATRE INVESTIGATION GROUP?!!! pretty much sums up what him and his ILK get up to, pure acting and rehearsed drama's.<br><br> Maybe he had enough of his collegues riding round in arab dress, driving cars reported stolen in america, then exported to iraq and booby trapped and rigged with explosives? maybe he was looking for his whistle to blow?<br><br> Still the military have always told us the turth so far eh? better believe them, i mean would they lie to us?<br><br> Its amazing to still some people stuck in the dark ages regarding america was the 'good' guy in vietnam? well i suppose the communists were the al qaeeeeeeeeeeeeeeda of there day, and we all know how many people actually swallow that today. <p></p><i></i>
