Where's the proof of an international pedophile ring ever operating out of Emeryville, California? Have you read the court document explaining why she was disbarred? I wasn't really attacking Ms. Dixon, at least not with ad hominems. Or is telling the truth an unfair attack?

Now we can see that Virginia McCullough threw Detective Powers under the bus by sharing his email with the tv reporter. How can that be justified? If News Making News wants to be viewed as a legitimate source, why are they revealing sources to third parties?

I have seen attacks or innuendos implied about desertfae and Mr. Powers. I also saw that news clip desertfae shared where Ms. Dixon almost got arrested in court by a judge. This all just seems so very strange. As I asked in my first post, why should anyone trust News Making News? Desertfae turned out to be exactly who she said she was. No one can say she's ever accused people of being involved in an international pedophile ring. Maybe this American Dream person can channel Ms. McCullough or Ms. Dixon about this wild and unsubstantiated Dixon allegation. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm holding my nose right nose. People should definitely read the disbarment document. Wow.

It's funny that you raised this question, though I would ask the question of KD and VM. They somehow act as "journalists" for a website that generates seemingly zero revenue via ads or subscriptions. They will spend weeks at a time attending trials 100 plus miles from their homes - one would assume that they are not commuting daily back and forth. They seem to have unlimited funds required to file lawsuits and numerous appeals.

Being a disbarred lawyer or the curator of the Mae Brussell archives must be a lot more lucrative than one would assume. Either that or they have some outside revenue source. But what?

It seems that audioslave and Dr. Doogie are both people who came here with an agenda related to the Jimmy Hughes trial. Please note that I'm not casting judgement on their agenda, as I wouldn't even claim to understand what each is doing here- just pointing out that they did seem to come here with an agenda about this.

The most central question to me regarding Jimmy Hughes relates to the goal of exposing the Octopus, which is also a goal for Rachel- and one which I would hope that we all share.

I believe that to expose the Octopus, one must first figure out who are your ally, who is your opposition and who is your opposition posing as your ally. Only then can you move forward.

I believe that the Newsmakingnews.com site and the two women who are the only contributors of original content to that site fall into that third catagory. I came to this conclusion when reviewing their writings for the trial of Phillip Arthur Thompson - long before Jimmy Hughes was arrested. Having seen their tactics during that trial, it is easy to see how they are attempting to duplicate the strategy (with hopefully better results).

Jimmy Hughes and the executions of Alvarez, Castro and Boger are only one small, but important, part of what is certainly a much bigger picture. I would like to see that bigger picture exposed, but for that to happen, falsehoods must be exposed before truth is lost forever.

Those are very, very serious charges, D.D., and you are levelling them against people who have a significant place in the conspiracy research community.

I would say it is far, far easier to make a strong case that Gunderson and Riconosciuto are deeply dirty, and that itself has very important implications for this case.

And please correct me if I understand wrongly, but it is my impression that these differences have much to do with the rift which we must now confront.

Here is something I just found by a quick Internet search from a Virginia McCullough piece which goes into a little bit of her history with Anita Langley:

For at least the past four years Michael Riconosciuto used a woman who identified herself as a cousin by marriage as his third party spokeswoman. She is a resident of Vancouver, Canada and her name is Anita Langley. Michael Riconosciuto would use Anita Langley to deliver messages to this reporter and to others.

This woman assumed the role of intermediary between the imprisoned genius and those whose help he sought and whose opinions he sought to influence. Extensive paperwork documents Langely's efforts as do numerous phone calls supported by long distance phone bills.

Michael Riconosciuto terminated all communication with this writer after Anita Langley wrote a two-page letter with twenty attachments dated March 20, 2006. The letter was addressed to Trish Kelliher, the El Dorado County prosecutor in the murder case of victim Betty Cloer. Philip Arthur Thompson is the defendant in this murder case. The letter followed up a phone conversation between Anita Langley and Deputy District Attorney Kelliher. The purpose of the letter was to establish communication between DDA Trish Kelliher and Michael Riconosciuto who wanted to testify for the prosecution. When Anita Langley emailed this reporter a copy of that letter on April 17, 2006, I wrote to Riconosciuto pointing out that the wording of the letter tended to implicate him in the open homicide of a woman named Valerie MacDonald. Surprised and concerned, I wrote to Riconosciuto asking if he had dictated the wording of the letter to Anita Langley or if she had composed this letter without his input. Michael Riconosciuto ceased all communication with this reporter at that point and this writer ceased all correspondence with Anita Langley.
