I am to varying degrees familiar with the work of fully half or more of the names on that list, BPH. It's an interesting list of some of the foremost countercultural thinkers of the '60's.

Fritjof Capra and Alan Watts turned my attention towards the philosophies of the Orient, when I was in my early twenties.

They must have done the same for many millions, before and since.

At about the same time, Whitley Strieber scared the hell out of me with Communion.

It's a funny old world.

Strange one the other night. In the car with the GF, thanking her for a sweet card she designed and e-mailed to me, and she mentioned inspiration from "The Velveteen Rabbit." We were driving through an unfamiliar neighbourhood, and I said "Don't worry, I know where to go. I'm your co-pilot, Captain Jesus."

So we drive to see "Up in the Air" and there's "The Velveteen Rabbit" and the use of "co-pilot" as the major metaphor for life-partner.

While not precisely a synch to me, this is kinda funny. Yesterday I had a strong feeling that some of the family should walk to the beach and they did, just before dark. Oddly enough, washed up there they found a small stuffed rabbit that had been lost months ago. The rabbit's name, given by me several years ago? You guessed it, "Algae".

It's a poor sort of memory that only works backwards.
Indeed. :)

When one video leads you unexpectedly to another of a similar idea that has become a fascination for you, which reminds you of still another previously posted video, then, to me, there are synchronicities being played out. You may follow my experience, if you wish, as indicated below by arrows and references that kinda let you know only one way I view synchronous moments.

In this video, the word magical is used early on in the script. Well, I’m not into a magicalness of life, because I look to astronomers’, anthropologists’, archeologists’, biologists’ and cosmologists’ researches to explain as best they’re able biotic forms’ cosmological place under the sun, as I like to say.

All the while, I acknowledge there’s much more to consider wrt the heart’s beats and those beats’ rhythms and vibrations connected with the brain— I mean, there are those “magical” connections until they are no longer magical as I think they’re not yet easily explained satisfactorily by physicists and other scientists.

Notwithstanding, the physical rhythms and vibrations that musicians and visual artists truly live in, well, a lot of us believe so, is not to say that all humans do not. It’s just that too many of our species have been trained away from acknowledging what others acknowledge and are listening to learn more about. In this trailer, music and art are not implied as resultants of rhythms and vibrations. Wait. Metronomes show up. There’s one for musicians!

I hope that sequence above proves understandable.

Allegro - before you posted this had you seen that I mentioned on another thread yesterday that I had just that day watched "The Awakening" (which justdrew them posted on the thread)?

If not there's another sync! Before yesterday I hadn't heard of Max Igan and also found the Awakening video through a chain similar to yours.

I missed that one, C_w. Thanks for saying so, too.

Actually, I neglected a(nother) post. I’ve added a link that belongs in the sequence, which now looks like this.

REFER Vibration —> REFER exploring —> REFER ^ Hot Docs —> REFER The Awakening

Just some thoughts, here. That sequence is not even noticeable when one ponders, if one is even able, the seeming spacial infinity of our universe. If we could map all human feelings experienced at any one moment as well as humans’ expressions of those feelings, which is what I think emotions are, and naming that map something like “ubiquitous electromegnetic synchronicities,” I’ve wondered what that map might look like. Or, what could we preconceive conspicuous, cosmologically?
