Thanks, Rapt. That is very interesting.

Also, thanks to everyone for all their responses. There aren't too many places a person can just talk about this thing we deal with, as most don't know.

On another interesting note, Bush has just accepted responsibility for the failures in dealing with Katrina. This is indeed a first.

I get the feeling that the Dub is going down and he knows it. Apparently he has been advised to take some blame, which as we all know is the kiss of death.

Links that I know about:

To Subscribe by Email send to- mailto:etfirstcontact-subscribe@voidzero.net

Also Subscribe through- voidzero.net/mailman/list...rstcontact
and- treeofthegoldenlight.com/subscribe.html

All I can say is the fears for me are more tremors now than terrors.

I know what 'they' want, but I also see what they've got, and I have to say it's not what they want. Don't get me wrong, I think we're going to be getting into some dark days ahead (if we weren't there already). Days I do not look forward to but will face upright.

Imagine if Jeff had not started Rigorous Intuition, how many fence sitters would still be in the dark, I am grateful for his efforts and those before him who have woken me up.

I try as best I can to do the same, as I feel it is the best thing to do with my time these days. Each person who wakes up is one less and one more.

I would urge you not to feel as if you or anything you do is insignificant. The most humble acts are the most powerful , what you get is what you give, and we need to burn this old world apart with the flames of compassion. I have realized this is a spiritual war now.

Love is key to this, as the energy and ripples given off go out in all directions and affect the big picture in ways we cannot fathom. I can only speak of this as coming from my gut reaction to what is taking place, caught up i horror of realizing how evil it really is in the core, I feel we have not realized we are being purified from it rather the pursuing it for ourselves (like we used to do).

Anyway end of rant,

some concrete steps to take to get out of the cube...

Postby mingy » Fri Sep 16, 2005 9:13 am

thank you for asking for some concrete steps, inanna

but then you step back from that and say youve got problems, therefore...

it is very simple - there are two things you can do to improve your life - get an axe and chop down the tree of problems - or try to kill the tree by picking leaves off - and the leaves are really tough, and thorny, and you can spend a long time just getting one leaf off - almost all the bad stuff in your life and everyone's life has a single cause - all these millions of problems you cant even begin to think of fixing in a lifetime have one origin - that is the best news you are ever going to get - there is a way to fix millions of problems that is easier than solving one problem - the tree is so vigorous that before you can break enough leaves off to even make the tree falter in its growth, you are old - if you have a 1000 lives, you cannot make a dent in the vigor of this tree of evils - it grows even faster than everybody ripping off leaves can damage

BUT you can get an axe and bring that tree down, like little jack of beanstalk fame - and thus kill millions of problems in one lifetime, in your spare time, in one hour a week - your choice - but if i am going to fail, i want to fail using the best method - and i want to succeed, so i want the best method and so do you -

imagine a tree is growing all over your house - slowly wrecking everything - making leaks, getting into the plumbing, everything - and it has one root, one trunk, just two inches thick - if you spend a day hacking at it in the bathroom, it is filling up the kitchen - but it has a root just two inches thick - a small saw is all it takes - for yourself, for your children, for your species, for your daytoday survival, there is no choice - you have to take the easy way - go to the root and saw at it for five minutes, and a million problems you dont even think about because they are so intractable and theyve been around so long - begin to die, and die and die and die - all at the same time

sure, do your daytoday - why not? - but do your ten minutes sawing at the root - learn it, teach it to your closest, learn it well, teach it well, so that everyone who learns it knows they have to learn it well and teach it - and everyone who learns of it, teaching just one person a month, everyone in the world will know it in just 33 months - just by word of mouth - because it has to be wordofmouth, so that there is trust in the person you learn it from, so you can thrash it out, and learn it by teaching, so you can find your questions and get the answers - you cant 'get' the answers to your questions till you get hold of your questions, and we cant get hold of our questions till we sober up from the vast unreality weve been drinking

www.globalhappiness.org [not an org, just people, trying to get to reality in order to get to happiness; because all happiness is inside reality, and we have to toughen up to separate the wheat of reality from the chaff of our dreamdance with unreality]

right now there are 1000s of people learning and teaching this truth to their children, their parents - learning to see how all these problems have one root - and when they see that, they have a strong will to sever that root, and it is easy to sever; and when we have the numbers, there will be a general will to sever that root - the destruction of whales and dolphins, the kidnapping and selling of babies, the wars, the crimes, the terrors and horrors, the pollution, the corruption, the starvation, the waste of taxes, the failure of govt and democracy, the corporate crimes against humanity, the arms merchants fomenting conflicts, unemployment, loneliness in cities, alienation at work, the acceleration of weaponry to nuclear extinction, a million problems - must be traced from each of these problems to their single root, so you know

i dont know whether these 1000s are learning and teaching at the rate of one a month, but if they are, then a 1000 today is 1,000,000 in 10 months, a billion in 20 months, 8 billion in 23 months - it is do-able, and it is great to work in a real way, a strong, sure, clear, certain way - and you can become certain and strong and clear by looking at it at www.globalhappiness.org

it has to be individuals, it cant be an organisation, because the direction of an organisation is only the sum of the directions of the individuals in it, and it wont have the right direction if the individuals havent got reality in their sights - if the individuals have the right clear correct will, an organisation is superfluous - you dont vote in groups

by becoming certain to individuals being honest and severe with themselves, it can become certain to humanity, it can enter the group mind, the accepted ideas, the universal view - it needs everyone who can think to think - those who cant think will follow

if you have a really bad tree in your yard, what are you going to do? - attack it with eyebrow tweezers, one leaf a day, when it is growing two leaves a day, when you can saw the tree down in two minutes?

injustice is not a vague animal far away, it determines the nature of the bread in your mouth, of the car you drive, of the city and the state and the country and the world and the atmosphere you breathe in and love in and live in - it is the nature of the anchors you listen to, the movies you see - the nature of your neighbours, the unlaughter in your days and nights, the health or sickness of everything - and you know there is much that is sick, so little that is healthy today - what does it do to you that there is so much sickness in all things, so little health in your daily experience?

what good health there is, just in checking out a plan that offers to bring you and your surroundings from extinction to health, from deathinlife to livelovelaughterlightness! and if it holds up under your exhaustive inspection! if it doesnt turn out to be some crockofshit!

someone put a lifetime of reading and thinking and caring into the conclusions and insights that are at www.globalhappiness.org - it is love in the form of good sound sense

do the plan there until you find a better plan - a more hardnosed, realistic, practical, sane, sensible, simple, do-able plan - and tell me about it - tell everyone about it

dont look to your leaders, they are at best merely the distillation of the good and bad sense of general humanity - only individuals taking the responsibility to mine some more good sense out of the ground of their minds is going to improve the mix that makes our actions and our errors

which of us wouldnt go mad with the paranoia of overpower?

dont rely on the experts - there are diseases of the intelligence that attack experts more than they attack 'ordinary' folks
