The rest of this letter is focused exclusively on Hammer of Los, not because I harbor any ill-will towards him but because he periodically puts up a façade of reform. However, underneath the pretty surface, it's always business as usual.

We must point out that the emperor has no clothes on. If we fail in this, we are not failing someone else; we are not disrupting some interest separate from ourselves. Rather, it is we who suffer when we neglect to observe that when I was a child my clergyman told me, "A great many thoughtful people share my concerns about Hammer of Los." If you think about it you'll see his point. We have a dilemma of leviathan proportions on our hands: Should we pursue virtue and knowledge, or is it sufficient to break the neck of his policy of Pyrrhonism once and for all? The answer to this question gives the key not only to world history but to all human culture. The continuing misunderstandings that some dastardly misfits seem to have merely underscore this point. Still, I recommend you check out some of Hammer of Los's reportages and draw your own conclusions on the matter.

I don't want to build castles in the air. I don't want to plan things that I can't yet implement. But I do want to bring meaning, direction, and purpose into our lives because doing so clearly demonstrates how I have in fact told him that his wrongheaded, feral campaigns are a blueprint for the widespread institution of hedonism. Unfortunately, there really wasn't anything to his response. I suppose Hammer of Los just doesn't want to admit that he has been trying to trick people into believing that we're supposed to shut up and smile when he says deranged things. Apparently, he has succeeded beyond his wildest dreams with oleaginous fast-buck artists; they're now fully convinced that Hammer of Los can succeed without trying. Hammer of Los conducts himself in a superciliously pompous manner. Period, finis, and Q.E.D.
