Just discovered the sixth video in this series. You can find it via bitorrent or watch it on google video...

Evidence_of_Revision_Pt_6 (warning: harsh footage of lynchings and beatings during the intro)

You can download the other five from the internet archive or watch them online...

I don't know who put all these videos together (it's credited to Etymon Productions) but watching all of this historical footage has been mind blowing.

Thank you Etymon wherever you are. :lovehearts:

^^^
That can't be right -- Just finished watching #6 about MLK; It's LATE (early now) but i couldn't postpone and watch it tomorrow (later today) it was just TOO compelling; At least my 2nd reviewing. Saw once again the incredible evidence that pretty-conclusively established James Earl Ray was set-up, MLK was taken-out by a military intel assassination unit with complicity of all leading agencies (FBI, CIA, Pentagon, Memphis Police etc.) with authorization from the top C-in-C Johnson. Finally got to see one of the most remarkable things, the evidence trail of a paper scrap listing a phone number for Ray's mysterious gun-running spook-and-mafia-connected handler Raul, which ALSO listed several phone numbers for one of Jack Ruby's clubs. Based on this lead that connected the JFK and MLK assassinations, the investigator contacted and interviewed several of Ruby's favorite bar-girls. They confirmed that Ruby and Raul were friends, often seen hanging-out together.

Now ain't THAT a doozy!

Re: MLK's assassination: His damning critique of the Vietnam war about 1/3 into the vid is REALLY moving, it shows what a powerful moral force drove him and that made him a power for the criminal warmongering state to contend with, as he planned to lead several hundred thousand poor people on a march and encampment in Washington for economic justice and a fundumental change in values. He called the US the 'world's greatest purveyor of violence', which truth was too much for Johnson and a lot of people in the Civil Rights movement to accept.

He gave a talk in Memphis the night before his assassination in which he concluded it with a passionate discussion of his possible death, as if he had a foretelling that within 24 hours he would be dead. 'I have SEEN the promised land' -- and then he says, 'But we may not get there together...' and then concludes, 'I don't fear anyman, for my eyes have SEEN the glory!'

WoW.

I think of that psychpathic sick murdering hypocrite conceited fuck J Edgar Hoover, and how obsessively fixated and hateful he was towards MLK, he must have been enraged at knowing that next to MLK's shining honour and idealism and courage that Hoover was a pathetic self-loathing fake, a complete snivelling toad and self-indulgent opportunistic. He was driven to condemn MLK as a communist because deep inside he couldn't bear knowing MLK was a real-deal hero and spiritual leader with moral authority that Hoover could NEVER, ever even come within spitting distance to.

The Evidence of Revision is a top-shelf excellant series.
Thanks for citing them!

Still works for me. Maybe it's blocked where you are? Are you in the US?

Found another streaming version here.

I'd suggest downloading these while you still can. I'm surprised this series has been available online (outside of the pirate video scene) for so long. These videos use footage from so many sources that could complain -- not to mention the content.

I just watched it, finally. It's a brilliant film, and the case it makes is overwhelming. (If you're pushed for time, most of the evidence is in the second half, and the real kickers are in the last 15 minutes or so.)

Seconded. For instance, the MLK section contains lengthy extracts from a British TV report made way back in the day when investigative journalism still existed in the mainstrean media. (It's either from the BBC's Panorama or from LWT's World in Action.) EOR appears to be mainly a very skilful compilation of many different pre-existing films and interviews. As whipstitch says, it's surprising that they've not yet been silenced by copyright claims.

Evidence of Revision - all 6 parts - are must watch for those wishing to gain an understanding of 'merikan history since late 50's, and the killing decade of the 60's extending into the early 70's. These should be required in every 'merikan history class.

it's an excellent portrayal of how it all went down, exposing the naked fist of death, dominance and repression as it was wielded with full malevolence. It's the history of the development of my political consciousness.

I still remember the day Martin was shot. A couple black buddies on my JHS wrestling team made sure I stayed out of school that day... Fortunately nothing serious happened, but it was touch and go in my medium-size Iowa town that whole week with its large black population, all as the rest of the country seemed to be burning.....

I got to watch it in horror each night when my Dad would turn on the T.V. news. I remember them all, John, Bobby, Martin and Malcolm, later Lennon. I also remember Oswald, Ruby, Sirhan, Farrakahn, Chapman, all are ingrained in my memory. The murderers, (some who were later discovered to be patsies) of my early hopes. I include Lennon as he was almost certainly another hit.

I developed my original political awareness as they all went down: Johnson, Humphrey, Bobby Baker, Nam, Tet, My Lai, Cambodia, Laos, Watts, SLA, Weatherpeople, Chicago 7, Judge Hoffman, the Secret Plan to End the War, Kent State, Jackson State, Columbia, March to End the War, Pentagon Papers, Silent Majority, Nattering Nabobs, Watergate, the Pueblo, Buffy St. Marie, Leonard and Russell, Hoover, Helms, Sirica, Poor People's March, Community Revitalization (a.k.a., slum clearance, a.k.a. removing black folk), Clean Gene, McGovern, Barbara Jordan, etc......

Two books for further insight and historical background: Family of Secrets by Baker, and Towards an American Revolution by Fresia.

WTF wow ....... I just watched part one on Kennedy - its fucking mind blowing so much has been distorted and lied about and yet the facts are all there in news reports at the time. Truely eye opening and devistating. A Mauser... Can't wait to watch the rest of the series

At first blush, I was a little surprised too that these videos have remained available for as long as they have.

But on second thought, the PTB pretty much know that most people are safely ensconced in their own protective ideology bubbles (so, you know, they'll be no problem) and the few people who do pay attention... well, it's not like most of them will actually go and DO anything.

Among the people, those that don't know don't care, and those that do know don't do.

The "Evidence of Revision" series is one of the most vivid, mind blowing history lessons that I have experienced; containing archival news footage that vividly illustrate a more sinister story than most people can even imagine. The 6th one is terrific also.

I can't even get my family to even watch it. It's like they're scared or something; - or maybe they'd rather just watch sports.
