I don't get the remorse part, but no matter. Bon voyage.

Aw.

It was always fun.

I will miss you.

In fact, what on earth am I going to do around here without you?

I guess I'll have to think of something.

I sometimes think you were here to keep us honest. By which I mean, checking sources thoroughly, being sensitive to context and so forth. Frankly, I'll seriously consider any old guff given half a chance, I need someone to keep a rein on me.

Sometimes we may have appeared to disagree. But everyone is entitled to speak their thoughts here. You were typically intelligent, courteous and good natured. I like that. Your knowledge of American political and cultural history, amongst other important topics was impressive. I love everyone for their variety of viewpoints. We all have something to learn from one another, and you certainly gave me food for thought. In fact, you sent me on one hell of a trip, but that's a story for another day.

Have a nice life.

To Jeff Wells, Username, C2W and the community.

I am very sorry for many of my recent postings on this board. I would gladly recant them given the chance. I would like to apologise deeply to everyone I may have offended in my ignorance and paranoia.

I offer my most humble regrets over all of this. In respect I shall not post again.

I harbour no suspicions nor ill will towards any in the community here, although I can see how ill-advised and bizarre my recent postings have been.

I am mortified at some of the things that I have said.

C2W's post about astrologically inspired forum meltdown made me angry that accusations were being made on the board against wombaticus rex, uncle scam, and others. I humbly acknowledge that I was then very ignorant of the background of that thread. I posted in anger and suspicion and very much regret it. I have never spoken of this board anywhere else, nor shall I. As a consequence of reading too much into that thread and going crazy with google apophenia after the name of a certain former forum poster came up, I really drank the kool aid. I spent far, far too much time reading crazy materials on the internet.

Once again, I am very sorry for any hurt and confusion my ignorance and paranoia might have caused.

I deeply regret all this and offer my humble apologies to everyone.

I acknowledge I have posted many times out of ignorance, paranoia and suspicion.

I acknowledge the damage some of my posts have caused.

I hold you Jeff Wells, and everyone in the community here in high regard.

Many of my recent posts have been inexcusable. I can only ask you, and any others I may have offended, to accept this apology. I shall no longer post on these message boards.

what, did you piss off somebody? heck, it might have been me, i suppose. i'm not good at remembering who does what. but have a good one, compared2what?
The real issue is that there is extremely low likelihood that the speculations of the untrained, on a topic almost pathologically riddled by dynamic considerations and feedback effects, will offer anything new.

Awww, come on Mr. Los, don't be that way. I didn't mean any harm by that wisecrack I made above, and I'm sure hoping it didn't have anything to do with your decision to leave.

I haven't noticed any of your recent posts being inexcusable . . . only your sig line.

And as for, "C2W's post about astrologically inspired forum meltdown . . ." and this part, "after the name of a certain former forum poster came up, I really drank the kool aid. I spent far, far too much time reading crazy materials on the internet . . . " well, idk what to say about that. It doesn't sit so well with me either, but then maybe I didn't allow myself to become as seriously entangled in the drama . . . then again, maybe I did. (sigh) But this is C2W's fare thee well thread, and now it's become your goodbye as well. I won't continue to carry on about it.

Sorry to see you go. To me, you have always been one of the family, a welcome one at that, and one I thought I could kid with, poke fun at, and like the Englishman you are, you would forever remain aloof, but in a good way - like stiff upper lip and all that.

Sorry for being a dope.

A search by author has turned up nothing matching this description.

Don't want to stir shit up, but what posts?

Don't go off on us now man, your contributions are plenty valuable around here. I mean, I obviously missed the part where you drop-kicked somebody's baby down the street then ran over it with your pickup.

Seriously, seriously?

Oh, and in case the venerable C2W is still scanning the skies for the What-signal...

Be well, ya peach. :-* Come back soon. Don't bother trying to change usernames either, we'd spot you a mile-long rant away.

Psynapz man its all good. I meant to edit out the hysterical "I'm not posting anything again" bit. I'm not pointing out any of the posts to which I obliquely referred. Sorry. Don't go looking, your life is too short. Paranoia overload ain't a pretty sight. They were a long time ago. And really, there's far too much shit being stirred around here already. That was the point of my apology, and I er also apologise for my apology which was not meant to derail C2W's goodbye post at all.

And I do miss C2W, although she has reappeared once or twice. I miss having to try to work out what those endless run-on sentences really mean. By God she makes you work hard.

Cheers C2W. See you soon.
