Sorry about the bad vid and sound quality. This probably should've been posted on American Dream's thread about Harold Wilson, although in reality he didn't get anywhere near as left-wing as this particular fictional Prime Minister before the Old Guard felt compelled to bring him down. The main point is that no one is allowed to go anywhere left of centre in British politics, even the Prime Minister... the will of the people is irrelevant to the whole process. EDIT: This would also be applicable to the concerted campaign among the media, secret service, and government to smear Arthur Scargill and the National Union of Mineworkers. But we're all familiar with the ideas, so just watch some great acting:
