I hadn't realized she'd left, but I wasn't paying attention. We all run out of patience eventually. I'll pay for the toast.
No, C2W's reservoir of patience was virtually inexhaustible. An irreplaceable ally lost, to us. But not to the world and everybody and everything in it in need of enlightenment, understanding, patience, forgiveness, honesty, compassion and just plain fairness. She was and is all that.

You know, as we traverse this digital landscape, we are sometimes lucky to come across certain screen names that are special, a cut above, "all that" and more. C2W? is the third such person that I've felt this way about (in ten years worth of travels), although I rarely interacted with her. She is just one of those people that you ache to have known in real life, even if only marginally, knowing without doubt that your life would have been and could be better for it. And even if you were not a target of the abuse some have inflicted on particular members here, you are most certainly a victim, simply due to her absence here because of it.

I miss her. Alot.

There was a small bit of discussion regarding changing the name of the "Post" button a few days back. And I thought for a moment that it should/could appropriately be renamed "C2W?" Not really feasible I know, but a fitting tribute none the less.

I agree, CC. First time I read one of ctw's posts I wished I had known her in real life.

Long after I turned the computer off last night I was thinking about what cuda said.

ctw? if your reading here still, we miss you and the forum is not quite the same without you. So please reconsider. :lovehearts:

That particular service is available only to members who have paid for an EXTRA-SPECIAL GOLD CARD RI MEMBERSHIP ACCOUNT ULTRA. And even then, only if I happen to like you.

I'm filling out my application right now, but I'm concerned that signing the loyalty oath to refuse to believe in chemtrails, to think that KWH is an almost completely baseless idea and to support secretly the Kenyan socialist fascist homosexual pot-smoking agenda will really be frowned upon at the John Birch Society when I go to the Tuesday night History Channel D-Day programming festivals.

I don't know, but I hope he comes back! — and that he's alright.

I did crack a joke about "I already don't trust this SMiles guy" or something the other day. But it was a joke that was contained within it, how much I trust, enjoy the dude. Don't be adiosing nobody miles. I sure hope it wasn't me.

Which leads me to ask: Are some here being PMed by weirdos? Are some of us highly attuned peeps getting threatened in ways only a riggie would get?

I've never understood why people drop off from here. Losing elfismiles would be awful.

Elfismiles is alright. He got mad at me because I scolded him about an inappropriate posting, and he found this an opportune impetus to refocus his energies on projects which he had back-burnered as a result of his activities here and elsewhere. In other words, he left in a huff.
