Ah, would that I could, Ben. I'm working under the assumption that he feels there are those who are being unduly harsh with their judgement and castigation of Teh WikiLaek, and perhaps in his haste to present his own ideas on the matter had mistakenly interpreted some posts of our fair membership as implying a worldwide Israeli plot in control of the US government and beyond, as well as incorrectly discerned a tendency toward agreement with certain exact points which have been put forward by our government and their supporters in what appear on the surface to be attempts to interrupt the abilities of Assange & Co. in their quest to perform the werldz biggist Cy Op since the Catholic Church. But it's really just a guess, as he is a new poster, and I have yet to fully inculcate worldviews within the administration nexus regarding his status.

And, as you might suspect, such an assertion - god knows from whence it came! - hovers dangerously near to contravention of the posting guidelines regarding insinuations of disinformation, which I recommend The Hacktivist read and take to his bosom. Though I'm not sure it actually oversteps those bounds, per se, and thus the lack of real urgency with regards to a more formal public cautioning by the moderator staff. He may just be fishing for a response. It's happened before, or so I've heard.

However, thank you for pointing it out, and, as a further reminder, fascist tendencies and anti-semitism are generally unwelcome here, so do let us know if you encounter such, or are confronted with any other statements which might seem tainted, however faintly, by the unanswerable charge of disinfo.

No mistake there, several posts implied that exactly and Nathan and Jack pointed it out long before I was even registered here, I only confirmed that I saw what they saw also.

Im not here to break any rules, may take it up with them, however, since, again, I only pointed out what they pointed out prior, in otherwords I was saying Jack and Nathan, you are not alone in what you saw/read.

I am going to bed for the night but whoever is in charge of of security here should know this place is vulnerable, took all of 3 minutes to determine that. As you know many court orders and others are now forcing sites down for even discussing wikileaks and operation payback so stay vigilant in protecting this place, its a gem in an otherwise clogged up internet full of lies, propaganda and ugliness.

I am glad to be here.

Good night.

Hiya Hacktivist, welcome etc, hope you slept well.

You were inviting questions, so i thought of one: why you here now? IOW, why have you joined RI & joined in the discussion here? Surely some small risk is involved for you in doing so, and what benefit do you/yours hope to gain from engaging here that makes that risk worth running?

I can imagine the monotony of seeing the same old arguments chased around same old tree might weary you, but then why not just run screaming like i do some days. If you have been loitering for a while, you must have known your unevidenced assurances wouldn't convince many. Perhaps theres no real risk for you here, and this is just recreational advocacy. I'm interested in any more information you'd like to share about your motivation for posting here, now.

What? I beseech you, in the tiny duodenum of the little newborn baby Jesus, think it possible you may be mistaken.

Cuda, as a moderator here and given the rest of the sentence from which you quoted..."and they are using this fascist propaganda to try and destroy Mr. Assange and his child, Wikileaks, but to their surpirse, they are not succeeding because they are being taken out faster than they can get back up and running., I was wondering if you can help clarify for me exactly what The Hactivist is implying here?

Sorry if I'm obtuse.

Yeah, well, I just had an interesting experience for an hour or so. When I tried to post or save or preview anything, I got the message, "This post does not exist." Nothing like that has ever happened to me before. In fact, this post is a test to see if it was only a temporary glitch or an illustration of what our new friend Hacktivist meant.

On edit: Yay! So, Oh! All-Knowing Hacktivist, I'd like to issue a little challenge: what can you find out about me that I haven't already posted on RI? Or, since I'm the only one who'd really know whether you were right or wrong, can you give us any evidence of the incredible feats that you can perform, other than the hot air from your big mouth?

........

It is an unethical use of the skill to use it in the way you suggest but I have no problem offering a taste now and then just so you know this is not a
game, arg, psy op or otherwise, it is real and real things can be made to happen, glitches among them.

I simply came here to tell you that Mr. Assange is real, Wikileaks is real and Wikileaks is NOT Israel (big eye roll here).

Keep in mind I am on your side, I too want the truth, I just
have at my disposal easier ways of finding it than most do. But its not magic or mystery, just hard work and learning how things operate at the protocol level.

As one may say, its the scripts, stupid.

Does anyone else get the impression that Hackie is hinting (note his bold script) that Alice's RI posting problems were a result of his hacking skills ?

Mr Stephens said it would take an "inordinate" length of time to get the bail money together.

"Until then we have an innocent man in Dickensian, Victorian conditions in Wandsworth jail," he said.

"It is impossible to say how long it will take before Julian Assange is out. The problem is £200,000 cannot be put in by cheque as that takes seven days to clear.

"So I have to go around to find cash and have it delivered to court, and until the court has it an innocent man stays in jail."

Mr Stephens branded the bail conditions "Orwellian" and said he would ask to relax them at a later date.

He warned the extradition process could take "many years" and highlighted the ongoing ordeal of Gary McKinnon, the British computer expert wanted in the US for hacking into military computer systems.

The lawyer said his client could not speak to other prisoners at Wandsworth Prison and was locked up for 23 hours a day.

He added that mail was not getting through and a copy of Time magazine featuring Assange was "ripped up by the censors" and he was only given an empty envelope.

Wow, I've really not been keeping up: WikiLeaks did Climategate?

In related news:

Is Al-Naimi the Problem?
------------------------

9. (S) Minister Al-Naimi has consistently been rational and
practical in talking with western delegations about climate
change
, noting that Saudi Arabia had to address its
development concerns, but conceding that the world needs to
work together to address climate change. These reassuring
statements stand in sharp contrast to Al-Sabban's public
comments, such as questioning the science behind climate

change just before Copenhagen, and his often obstructionist
behavior, as reported by a number of Embassies in Riyadh,
during working-level negotiations. Senior Ministry of
Petroleum officials have reassured us after each of
Al-Sabban's public outbursts over the last six months that he
has been "tamed" and brought back onto the reservation.
The
frequency and number of times that Al-Sabban steps out of
line, and the apparent lack of any sanction, raises questions
about the real Saudi position on climate change.

Does anyone else cringe to his or her very soul to know that in both cases it's happening to a person who's as innocent as you and I are of any criminal act in the eyes of the law under which we ostensibly live?

Does anyone else read both of those with the knowledge that it might yet happen to you?

Does anyone else here realize that from every perspective that means a goddamn thing, it might as well be happening to you?

Does anyone else feel a little less like playing their little games when they read that shit for even one fucking moment?

And it's OBVIOUSLY not a one-to-one comparison. I'm not saying that it is and I don't see why it has to be. It's way, way past anything that anyone should tolerate when it's at the mildest end of the continuum, it's not like there's any gray area there.

He is a person, a person, same as you are. And so are the hundreds who have it worse at Camp Delta and elsewhere.

* * * * * *

Fun's fun and all that, but please try not to lose sight of that and not to block someone else's view of it, okay?

Thanks.

Well, I guess I'll put you down for "No" on the main questions, then.

And yeah, I do realize that all the data is not yet in, Kane from Kung Fu.

So have fun, little one.
