The CIA's role in the 1973 Chile coup against Allende is being revived by efforts to get his body exhumed to see if he was murdered or really committed suicide, the cover story.

So National Propaganda Radio folllowed a story about South America environment issues with the instrumental intro to a Sting (of The Police band) song about the women who bring photos of the 'disappeared' victims of that CIA coup. The song is called 'They Dance Alone' with a signature wood flute sound playing the lead melody.

Just in case some DJ plays that old song about CIA-backed murder and torture, some might think it's a song about something else.

"They Dance Alone"

Why are there women here dancing on their own?
Why is there this sadness in their eyes?
Why are the soldiers here
Their faces fixed like stone?
I can't see what it is that they dispise
They're dancing with the missing
They're dancing with the dead
They dance with the invisible ones
Their anguish is unsaid
They're dancing with their fathers
They're dancing with their sons
They're dancing with their husbands
They dance alone They dance alone

It's the only form of protest they're allowed
I've seen their silent faces scream so loud
If they were to speak these words they'd go missing too
Another woman on a torture table what else can they do
They're dancing with the missing
They're dancing with the dead
They dance with the invisible ones
Their anguish is unsaid
They're dancing with their fathers
They're dancing with their sons
They're dancing with their husbands
They dance alone They dance alone

One day we'll dance on their graves
One day we'll sing our freedom
One day we'll laugh in our joy
And we'll dance
One day we'll dance on their graves
One day we'll sing our freedom
One day we'll laugh in our joy
And we'll dance

Ellas danzan con los desaparecidos
Ellas danzan con los muertos
Ellas danzan con amores invisibles
Ellas danzan con silenciosa angustia
Danzan con sus pardres
Danzan con sus hijos
Danzan con sus esposos
Ellas danzan solas
Danzan solas

Hey Mr. Pinochet
You've sown a bitter crop
It's foreign money that supports you
One day the money's going to stop
No wages for your torturers
No budget for your guns
Can you think of your own mother
Dancin' with her invisible son
They're dancing with the missing
They're dancing with the dead
They dance with the invisible ones
They're anguish is unsaid
They're dancing with their fathers
They're dancing with their sons
They're dancing with their husbands
They dance alone
They dance alone

Aussie journo John Pilger double, actor 'Crocodile Dundee'

Postby Hugh Manatee Wins » Tue Apr 26, 2011 10:20 pm

Australian investigative journalist, John Pilger, has dug up so much dirt on the US-UK fascist cabals that they had to find a look-alike to market to kidz.

Pilger in 2009 exposing Obama as another CIA figurehead for the USS Reichstag-

Do you know what I find so awesome (to use a phrase that the kidz know) about this?

Growing up, my heroes were journalists. And C-3PO and Wonder Woman, but whatever. And then I married a guy who gave me the tiniest exposure to celebrity actors (insofar as he lived in LA and some other stuff that you don't get to know about).

Which means that it pushes all the right buttons on me to read a story where the almighty federal government of the U. S. of A. was so scared of the power that a lone journalist held that they had to get a celebrity lookalike and spend umpteen dollars on a whole series of blockbuster movies to diffuse the impact he had on society. And somewhere in the world, an actor has a good life because he looks like a journalist.

It's as if movies were homeopathy for fascism.

they had to get a celebrity lookalike and spend umpteen dollars on a whole series of blockbuster movies to diffuse the impact he had on society.

But they made lots of money off the targeted kidz by inducing them to insert the decoy association into their brains.
Psyops, like other drugs, is highly profitable.

And somewhere in the world, an actor has a good life because he looks like a journalist.

Many many celebrities have careers because of their KEYWORD utility names used as marketed psyops decoys.
A very young James MacArthur was used to displace dangerous history of General Douglas MacArthur in CIA-Disney's 'Third Man on the Mountain' and in
tv's 'Hawaii Five-O.'

Mary Tyler Moore was used as a decoy of a key witness to JFK's assassination from the grassy knolll, Mary Moorman. And they were look-alikes, a coincidence that makes spooks oh so happy...days.

Tom Boswell was a look-alike for Dr. Silva doing CIA MKULTRA experiments at the hospital that Oswald was taken to by Clay Shaw and David Ferrie.

Henry Winkler got a movie part in 'Night Shift' when another Winkler was about to be busted for looting the Savings and Loan system.

A British actor named David Kelly and another one named Hutton got parts when Lord Hutton was looking into the David Kelly "suicide' scandal.
The movie was called 'The Kovacs Box' named after a whistleblowing spook book written by Leslie Aspin called 'I, Kovacs.'

That's why a disinfo spook named Malcolm Gladwell has been publisihing hyped decoys of psyops culture like 'Blink' and 'Tipping Point' and
...'Outliers'...
to hide the technique of
OUTLYING.

It's as if movies were homeopathy for fascism.

Movies are mass mnemonics. Mnemotech. 'Finding Nemo' covered for Sydney (Australia) Gottlieb and memory erasure by "psychic driving." etc.

Army Field Manual FM 33-1 Psychological Operations tells us that a prime task of a psyoperator is to-
"manufacture memories."

No kidding.

Ahhh, so good to find a level-headed thread that makes sense, after reading the Circumcision and Misogyny ones.

And yes, Paul Hogan was groomed from his Aussie boyhood to move from working stiff to stand-up comedian through to 70's TV show host, just so Crocodile Dundee would eventually drown out John Pilger.

"Military" + "psychology" = funny stereotype clash ala 'Analyze This' movie.
Not 'psychological operations.'

I was thinking more along the lines of reinforcing the stigma of seeking a diagnosis and treatment for ptsd which is at epidemic proportions and threatens to place a serious drain on already strained resources. Some estimates I've read claim the long term costs of treating veterans claiming to have symptoms of ptsd could exceed the cost of the war itself. A number of tactics are being used to limit the number of veterans claiming ptsd. For one there is the rumored threat that a diagnosis of ptsd could be used to bar a veterans ability to gain employment in civilian life requiring the use of a weapon. Many veterans go into law enforcement and security after getting out. Also, once a soldier has been diagnosed with ptsd they are barred from reenlisting. Many of them want to reenlist. They have nothing to come home to. The military is all they have. There is also the stigma attached to being mentally unbalanced and emotionally vulnerable and damaged. It's weak. It's cowardly. It's Yellow. I thought that's what the Geico commercial is reinforcing. Everyone knows Ronald Lee Ermey. He was the iconic marine corps drill sargeant from Full Metal Jacket tasked with turning boys into men and psychopaths.

Well each one that commits suicide saves Uncle Sam a whole lot of money!

I'm really not joking. I can't help but think soldiers are now expendable, it's just a-ok if they commit suicide, they're done with them anyway.

They used to do the same thing to slaves in the really rough sugar plantations. Work them to death.

Nothing would surprise me.

I think it's safe to say that soldiers were always considered expendable. Mass suicides would be very bad PR just as news stories revealing record levels of ptsd would be very bad PR. Not likely it's a-ok.

They used to do the same thing to slaves in the really rough sugar plantations. Work them to death.

You mean the slaves were worked until they committed suicide?

Nothing would surprise me.

I'm still shocked at the cruelty and depravity of human beings. It doesn't matter how many times I learn about some horrific act or injustice. I'm still shocked because it is so foreign and antithetical to the way I am. When I don't feel that way I'll know something is broken inside me.

Well that's what they do have, but how many people do you know who even talk about that?

A friend of mine has a son who just turned 18. He's joining the Army. Doesn't seem to matter.

Whatever the analogue to 'suicide by cop' would have been, I imagine, brainpanhandler. But slaves were more expensive back then and only a fool would actually work them to death. (Not that there weren't fools)(Not that I have much more than family stories to fall back on) (my family came from the slaves, not the slaveholders).

I appreciate your insights into that Geico commercial. Very well said.

And even if HMW's hypotheses are incredible, they have me thinking critically about subtextual messages in media placement.
