I don't want to, but I may leave soon. We shall see. Too many mavens here that don't get language and its use. Language is meant to be used freely. One person's "potty mouth" is another's exclamation point. And all words should be welcomed besides the obvious racial ones (which our website attests to the use of all through the 20th century).
We need to have a grand RI meetup or something where we can see that we are all people, with eyes we can look into. I tell stories usually, shit that came to mind when the occurrence of the story happened. How I think about it now. I really don't give a fuck, really do not give a fuck, if how I write offends people. I am offended that some seek to control my language. This is never acceptable. I spend probably 95% of every I day I have off writing, here and when I'm trying to come up with book ideas. Among friends I say "fuck" this that and the other all the time. I consider RI to be a place of friends. Thus this is how I speak/write here.
But never, ever tell me I cannot use a certain word ever. Which is what BPH and wintler have been doing for some time.
