I suspect he's been on the social media circuit much longer than that specific Facebook page is telling us. But we don't know the particulars, either. He may have siply posted the video as a message to certain groups he had joined there.

But when are you going to give some specifics regarding what you see in the photos of Breivik at the window? Don't leave me hanging!

I thought there were glaring problems with the flash shadows on the cop, but I can account for that being a double flash, so I was wrong. I was also a bit thrown by the apparent size of his head in the image, but it's clearly collapsed perspective due to long focal length, so my first impression on that was wrong too. I still can't explain the depth of field issues on the seat belt and his right arm, given that it's a flash photo.

That said the fact that a suspect in a mass murder is handcuffed at the front, in a vehicle that has windows at all, is problematic for me. That those windows aren't blacked out either, strikes me as odd too. Anyone know SOP on transporting dangerous high value suspects?

Well I think he found that patch somewhere on the internet, liked it, and used it for his video, like the rest of the pictures he used for it. But then maybe you can order the england patch somewhere and he ordered it. Then used it on the scubasuit and photoshopped "Norway" where it said "England".

Edit: on closer inspection it says "no bag limit (?) 1999-2083" which ties in with name of his manifesto (2083 right?) and seems to inidicate that this started in 1999. Maybe he designed it himself after all and had several made for different locations.

Yeah just noticed that, see edit. I hope there arent patches for all european countries distributed amongst the faithful already. Dont wanna see another ugly mug in a stupid suit with a badge like that.

edit: On a dark note i''m afraid this is what all the hollywood movies with their stereotypical bad guys (skeletor, cobra, dr claw), the alien ufo invasions (messengers of deception), the internet with the increase in attention for cyberwarfare (wikileaks, lulzsec, anonymous, arg''s), computergames with their virtual reality (WoW, second life etc) have been preparing us for all along: some really out there , made up stuff pushed down the throats of a hypnotised population by our "dungeon masters".

"Hyperbole"? You're the one who said I might as well join the numerologists. Now you're saying I'm carrying on like Hugh at his wildest and most movie-obsessed, just because I declared myself unwilling to take every wacky logical possibility equally seriously. Shurely shome mishtake?

No, I don't. I do find it obvious that the Norwegian police (and air force, and medical and emergency services) were grotesquely, unconscionably slow in responding to an obvious ongoing mass murder, even though the country was under attack and they were all on high alert very close to the scene of the crime. You, by contrast, are fine with that, unlike the Norwegians and tourists who were even closer to the scene of the crime, and indeed dodging bullets while rescuing children; they too were furious, and baffled. Maybe they too should join the numerologists.

I also find it incomprehensible that the Norwegian police initially overestimated the number of dead bodies on that tiny island by sixteen (in figures:16). You claim, at least implicitly, to find that bizarre brainfart (or whatever it was) perfectly comprehensible, although you haven't yet deigned to share your superior understanding with me or anyone else on the board.
