Wouldn't be much use against infrasound. Not much is. Maybe a very large soundproof shield which would be impractical when facing off against the rozzers.

By no damn coincidence, the Grateful Dead's favorite sound company, Meyer Sound Labs in Berkeley California....also provided the tech for the crowd-dispersing 'sound cannon.'

It was originally meant to project high frequencies a long distance for large concert venues. But it was weaponized against the very people that Meyer Sound Labs has tried to support for ages.

I can't decide which is worse: Meyer Sound co-opting audio technology, or the Grateful Dead co-opting democracy (unintentionally, of course -- they were just a trippin' and a truckin' and a hopin' and a changin'). Idiots.
