Question about RA dates (triggers)

Postby biaothanatoi » Tue Oct 04, 2005 9:09 pm

We’ve had some amped up cult contact over the last few weeks – up to and including a guy parked outside our house with our cat trying to lure my friend into his car. On a positive note, my friend has stayed safe and we did get our cat back.

My friend received an email from the perps yesterday stating that there is a “festival” on over two days – Oct 4th and 5th. I’ve run that through the online RA calendars and I’m not really coming up with anything. If the perps are Crowleyites, their next significant date should be next week at Crowley’s birthday.

I was wondering if any survivors here had any ideas?

Hi Biao,
Wish I could help with something specific. This is high season in general. The next 3 months, triggers and anniversaries everytime you turn around. Whenever the family tried to contact me they'd do it starting in September, and then throughout the holidays.

BTW, how do you pronounce your screen name and does it have a meaning?

Thanks. It could be just a random perp anniversary/birthday, but I though it was significant that it takes place over two days. It's possible that the perps are mimicking an Eleusinian cycle - some RA survivors have reported a two-day "festival" to the Roman Ceres on Oct 4/5, and there have been other attempts/attacks that could be linked to Demeterian dates. Will be interesting to see if they try on the 12th (Crowley's b'day).

The moniker comes from ancient Greece. It translates roughly as the "angry dead" - it refers to the belief that those who have died by violence maintain a presence in the world until they find peace. I think we have a responsibility to the victims of RA who are no longer with us, as much as we do to those that are.

Old Crow.

Postby Homeless Halo » Wed Oct 05, 2005 4:11 am

Don't start on Crowley.

That's like blaming Jesus for Pat Robertson.

As a Thelemite who has never abused anyone I find the implication that all of us are bad (I've noticed it here a lot) quite offensive. Not to distract from the topic at hand, which I'm deeply interested in (I study cognitive science UoM), but I thought I'd mention it because the tone gets on my nerves.

It seems no one knows anything about old Crow except his backwards connections to various post-Thelemic cults which practice a very debased form of his system.

Its like saying there is a Christian conspiracy or a Jewish conspiracy.

(The Black Brotherhood)

Thelema was doomed once it made it to America.

The BB uses the opposite of the traditional transformative initiation induced through peak states and instead creates a fracture by focused trauma, normally invasive, painful, humiliating, and emotionally scarring to create firewalls blocking neuronal pathways from connecting properly leading to dissociations similar to classical schiz (without the physical side effects normally, that is, cross fires and burns) and/or old MPD. Well done shelling can make disinfo agents or "manchurian candidates". I'm certain military intelligence has greatly improved upon this process by now.

(As to Crowley, it can be noted that a perusal of the esoteric systems practiced by him and compared/contrasted with those of the average 'satanic death cult' makes it clear they are in no way related, I could go more deeply into this, but it may not be neccessary)

but yes.

Thelemites (some) celebrate "Crowleymas". I suppose that some of the LHP derivatives must do as well.

And Samhain.

(Actually these dates would also probably be the best time for a Magickal "counter offensive")

Thelmic anti-black brotherhood magic is designed to "remove" "fallen" members who have taken the communion in whatever form. (.:1.:2:.3:. veils, and/or the BB probably drinks baby/virgin/goat/dog/whatever blood)

I'm sure some of the BB 'shell-men' (the Qlippoth is the world of shells) have prearranged triggers, especially if they are created with "ritual".

Crowley

Postby jenz » Wed Oct 05, 2005 4:52 am

Homeless Halo. whether or not you are aware of this, there are good reasons for checking out Crowley related dates, or Crowley originated texts in trying to second guess perps programming. as Christian dates and pagan fests. (can't think of anything specific btw Biao; have one idea, I'll get back if it checks out).

indeed.

I am very familiar with Thelemic texts.

I am certain they could be of import when dealing with modern versions of MC cults.

I was merely cautioning you from demonizing Crowley, or his method of occultism outright. Sweeping generalizations should be avoided whenever possible. This was my only intent.

ADVICE.

Postby Homeless Halo » Wed Oct 05, 2005 5:46 am

From my understanding of "proper" Crowleyan magick, and its inductions and bindings (and even "evil" LHP warlocks use binds, normally to sabotage each other, see, they fight amongst themselves)...

They (The aforementioned BB) will likely be conducting their little seances (which Satan, a being, who in fact, is a Hebrew Angel, will blissfully ignore), they'll be communing with the shell world and drawing in icky bits, maybe a discarnate entity, probably no one important, maybe no one even sentient (Black wizards nowadays don't seem very powerful)...

Opening links to toxic energies is theoretically extremely dangerous.

This is why black magic is generally avoided even in actual head hunter communities. It leaves one extremely open to counter attack.

Probably most of you aren't "practicing occultists" --if you are, stop practicing already--I'd imagine this is mostly postmodernist Christian types. We are in alliance here, as your magick would work a lot better.

Trying to fight black magick with curses is possible (A Voodoo doll purchased in New Orleans would probably have enough traumatic residue on it to "prick" somebody, for example)...but it isn't the best idea. If it doesn't work, you risk merely feeding their beast and adding your power to your own. The same thing happens when a BOOK--the torah, Islam, Christians, Hebrews, Thelemites (via the Sumer)--follower prays for the destruction of his/her/nongenderspecific(s) it risks becoming what it fears/hates. A much better option is to accept the words of the old prophet. To forgive one's enemies, completely, and allow the True Power to deal with them as it sees fit.

As the Turncoat spaketh (scribeth?):

"19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good."

This will break the evil "shell" the black magician has created, plus you get good Karma bonus points.

Reap what you Sow.

Or as the Times article about Delay phrased it more modernly:

What goes around, comes around.

Love is the Law.
