I think that God in creating Man somewhat overestimated his ability.

Gould plays Bach | Vicinanza

Postby Allegro » Wed Jan 09, 2013 2:51 pm

Backatcha, WR. The Bach composition was a considerable influence on my young ears and brain. The third movement, at mark 5.57 in the second vid, informs listeners of my fascination with Vicinanza’s Higgs Boson Melody.

So cool, reminds me of Suikoden II, one of my favorite video game, featuring an excellent soundtrack too!

I was wondering how it was I could have posted a line from this in the middle of the Alex Jones Meltdown thread without hearing from IanEye, since I saw that he was in the house. But I realize now that it's because I got a word wrong.

Shameful. Must be age showing up even when the morning sun isn't in my face, I guess.

...

Who be seamstress of this tapestry?

The elfin knight stands on yon hill
He blows his horn both loud and shrill
He stands so proud and he stands so still
Blow winds blow my bonnie o

If I had the knight that stands on yon mound
My true love then surely I have found
Down to the church then soon we will be bound
Blow winds blow my bonnie o

He'll make me a dress with seams of fine thread
Make me a garland of flowers for my head
Down to the church then away we'll go to bed
Blow winds blow my bonnie o
