Floyd you know that I am a believer in Christ,I posted the link because the Amazon shamans were using those herbs to heal and because the way they say they obtained this "knowledge". Also,I can't find the quote which was used by the author of the page(I did notice he mentions Jesus in some way and I thought it was in support of the Bible,not viceversa).When I looked afterwards,I couldn't find it. I didn't say that i agree with the posted material,just that it mentions yet another expedition to the Amazon forests(with contacts with the native people). I believe in God Almighty as a holy Trinity,and anything that doesn't meet that definition by any means(ie contradicts the Word of God) ,I consider false.But,just as I stated,we might learn what is actually going on in the past,present and future war for souls of men by looking into the strange stuff that other people found in isolated areas(the places in which the natives might have been contacted by the entities-you know of what origin...not good,not good at all).Enoch wrote about them,and their teachings of herbs(among the other forbidden knowledge). ....Sorry, ivanbo2003, I didn't mean to disparage you personally, but, even though I don't claim the "total Bible knowledge" of the rich TV preachers(?), I AM very familiar with most of its basic precepts through years and years of reading, and re-reading It. I firmly believe, regardless of the "origin" of that particular quote, that it was not said by Jesus in the Bible. That's all. I now understand the reason for your post, and, I heartily endorse it. i have searched for a single credible medical report or study that states 100% factually that dmt is created in the pineal gland and i cant find one, before i allow my mind to wander tto far down this fascinating path i'd like some solid evidence that i am going in the right direction, most of the proponents of this idea seem more interested in psychadelic experiences and shamanism than in hard medical proof

Methyl transferases which catalyze the synthesis of DMT, 5-methoxy-DMT, and bufotenine have been characterized in human lung, brain, blood, cerebrospinal fluid, liver, and heart, and also in rabbit lung, toad, mouse, steer, guinea pig, and baboon brains, as well as in other tissues in these species (McKenna & Towers, 1984). Endogenous psychotogens have been suggested as possible etiological factors in schizophrenia and other mental disorders, but the evidence remains equivocal (Fischman, 1983). Although the occurrence, synthesis, and degradative metabolism of DMT in mammalian systems has been the focus of recent scientific investigations (Barker, et al. 1981b), the candidacy of DMT as a possible endogenous psychotogen essentially ended when experiments showed comparable levels in both schizophrenics and normals. To tie this in with 2012, Ayahuasca and Daniel Pinchbecks upcoming work, here is a Journal entry from a thread he started on his Forum, November 23rd, 2004. The thread itself is fascinating. (I posted a link to his site and from there his discussion forum earlier on.) "What follows is the transmission I received over a week or so, during my trip to Brazil to visit the Santo Daime, exactly one year ago. The transmission began during an ayahuasca session and then continued as we took a boat down into the Amazon, eventually spending a week at Jurua, one of the original centers of the Daime. Schlemmer and other's who have channeled them. For Daniel it began with Ayahuasca and with Pulharich and his channels, it began with "The Sacred Mushroom". ~Cowbell

I think Pinchbeck and Hillary Rodham Clinton share the same advisor. The Quetzalcoatl must also be her speechwriter. I can just see her giving this speech, adjusted here and there for an american audience, at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. I am not being completely facetious; re-read the material as if Hillary is speaking. The four terror attacks on the West: 9/11, 3/11, 10/12, and 7/7 were not isolated events but are parts of a larger plan whose ultimate goal is to transform the world on 2012. The guilty party behind these attacks share a belief in esoterica that is expressed in the practical execution of the attacks, i.e. in the dates. The dates of the attacks combine to equal 2012 in an equation that is apparent only to the initiated. When the dates are combined, like numbers, such as the 11 pair in 9/11 and 3/11, do not change. These pairs are strong, permanent. This is why 7/7 was chosen for the London attack. 9/11 + 3/11 does not equal 12/22 but 12/11. 12/11 + 10/12 does not equal 24/22 or 22/24 but 12/21/12. The dates, and their significance numerologically to the guilty parties, justify a belief system. It holds that on 2012 a monoumental transformaton will occur. This will be the release of a devastating pathogen that is already primed for delivery. Look hard at 2012 and London. London recieved the 2012 olympics and the next day they were bound with 7/7. This suggests that Great Britain is either the target or the refuge from the coming plague. I would guess the latter. While they may not be ravaged as throughly as others, Great Britain, the United States, Australia, and Europe would have to be openly ruled by force. The public is ready to accept the prepared outbreak. The media track reminds us that a flu pandemic is only a matter of time. Blair recently said the world must reverse its consumption rates in 7 years or face devastation. The elite councils meet yearly to iron out the discrepancies of planned mass depopulation, formulate contingency, and ensure survival. This sounds very naive...... A few months ago, I had never heard about the Mayan calendar and the prophecy for 2012. However, that particular year kept popping up in my head. For instance, on 07/07/05, when the London bombings occurred, it was also announced that the Olympics would be hosted in London during 2012. Also, with all of this talk about detainment camps lately, I began to research Operation Endgame, which is an ICE/DRO initiative to detain and/or deport all illegal aliens from the USA by 2012. And I thought, hmmmm.....I'll google 2012. That year keeps coming up in my mind..... And then I discover the significance of 2012 in the Mayan calendar. It is interesting that I singled out this particular year......... I wonder what the US military thinks about 2012......So, I do the following Google search: 2012 inurl:.mil What I found has turned out to be pretty interesting........ The US government is planning to implement an entirely new defense strategy by 2012........ According to Lieutenant Colonel Marion Van Fosson, Program Manager for Future Combat Systems, we should have a First Unit Equip date in 2012 for the "Objective Force Warrior (OFW) Systems". <a href="http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/ofw.htm">www.globalsecurity.org/mi...nd/ofw.htm</a> Maybe you've already heard? The US Army is in the midst of a massive transformation to become the Objective Force. Mr. Briggs mentions homeland security. We are not talking about the National Guard.....We are talking about the transformation of the US Army into an "Objective Force" that will be responding militarily to homeland security concerns-------domestic military operations. This was once a boundary that the US Army was supposedly not allowed to cross. So, how do the US armed forces put themselves "on a footing?" This wording links this verse to the idea of the evil eye, which was often termed the "ungenerous eye". By this interpretation the good spiritual eye is one that is generous and can perceive God, and thus allows illumination into the entire body. However, in the LXX haplous is used to translate the Hebrew term for "singleness of purpose." If the author of Matthew was using this translation this verse would be extolling the eye that is solely focused on one thing, i.e. God. I find this thread fascinating, but it may have begun on a false premise. I'm refering to the date 3/11. It was a mistake. The bombing was scheduled to take place three days earlier on 3/8. I won't post the material again.
