I wonder if it was returning to 33° base???

www.alainrobert.com/photo..._wharf.jpg

Anders
www.dancingonthebrink.com
Edited by: Anders at: 3/12/06 10:43 am

How they know

Postby Avalon » Sun Mar 12, 2006 2:45 pm

I'd like to know what criteria the viewer used to be able to confidantly judge the size of the object, and what the definition of "strange" movement implied.

Photo/video evidence ?

Postby semper occultus » Sun Mar 12, 2006 3:57 pm

Given the ubiquity of mobile-phones with photo & even video capabilty one would expect a significant increase in the amount of such evidence arising from such ad-hoc UFO sightings.
I find it odd for any office in Britain ( or any place on earth come to that ) not to be crammed full of them.

Hi Anti

No - I live in Maidenhead - however I saw a UFO once and I am a definite believer in the phenom - it was a classic sphere, metallic shiney silver, 'bout the late 70s, I was driving from Hayes to central London (capital Radio and Silvermans next door) via the Westway and the orb was keeping pace + - about 10 mph, variable, I was doing 70mph, had a sunroof, and observed the bugger up above and to the right for a good 10-15 mins, no way was it a weather balloon, 3pm, Sunday afternoon, summer, blue sky, no wind, and it was gradually getting away, and I had 3 pax who all saw it but apparently refused to believe what they were seeing! No other car drivers looking UP. LOL, classic symptoms - so what happened? Well, I was approaching Baker Street and it took off, zipped ahead fast then whoosh it was gone ... I still can remember the whole event quite clearly, sans *accurate* time, and, like a previous poster said, how do you judge size against perhaps just sky? My impression was that it was maybe at 2000 feet, maybe 20-30 feet in circumference? Very hard to tell - I have since learned that these may in fact be unmanned (LOL) orbs...scouting... for whom I do not know...
Anders
www.dancingonthebrink.com

Even with a pro outfit on a tripod, same problems.

Tho I do hear what u are saying, so many cams now, inc CCTV...
Anders
www.dancingonthebrink.com

Big clue: combining keywords 'UFO' and 'Pyramid.'

I think this story is part of the tactic of using UFOs to keep up an electric fence to both inquiry and believing anything at all, an innoculation of total skepticism.

The Pentagon has declared war on the internet and recharging The Big Mystery is more important than ever.

Wasn't there a science story about technology used for projecting images in the sky for corporate advertising? Even with a good camera or camcorder with a good zoom lens it is really hard to get centered on a small feature in the sky.

Take a look over all three pages on the CUFOS UFO sighting questionnaire. It tries to get the sort of background information that is totally absent from this newspaper article. That's important material that would aid in identifying whether it is truly an unidentified object, or just misidentified.

www.cufos.org/sighting.html

I don't know about Katherine Harris' shapeshifting abilities, but from this story it appears her payback for "adjusting" the 2000 vote in Florida, is over.

Quote:
The Longboat Key Republican's campaign is barely stumbling along after revelations that she took thousands in illegal contributions from a defense contractor who bribed a California congressman.

Ashes, ashes, we all fall down! --MaryK
