Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.
They could still get him out of office.
But instead, they want mass death.

Re: Malaysia Airlines plane missing over Vietnam
I don't think it will be found in any meaningful time insofar as being current with this news cycle. I do think that you are being facetious, Lord Balto, however all seas of possibility must be plied.
If you are serious that this thread has been hijacked, then touche, as they say.
Also, I just found this article which semi-bolsters the reason the 777 will never be found:
http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news ... tic-ocean/
Thus, in my approximation, the story here is the mystery and why the mystery seems to be gripping us so. I believe that the members here are onto a larger idea and are just throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. If anything the speculation is "fun".
There has to be a reason for the missing aircraft/people and the obsessive "coverage" of it. I still maintain that the reason is in seeding a mystery for a later date.
But whatever.

Re: Malaysia Airlines plane missing over Vietnam
There are two spectrums with this ordeal. One is what happened and the other is media coverage. That is why I kept having that "Building a Mystery" song -- actually just line -- in my head. How to build a mystery?
I would say, this would be the way to do it. As we can see, it certainly has been successful in doing so. A mystery has been built.

Re: Malaysia Airlines plane missing over Vietnam
talk about media coverage...
Make it a Hitchcockian murder mystery
or, more precisely, infotaining -- mystery.
Ukraine + Flight 370 = Bad News for Neocons
Why such obsessive fascination with one missing plane on the other side of the world? Americans do not typically show deep concern about the fate of a handful of Asians (to put it politely). There were apparently three Americans on board, but they were not the main focus of the U.S. headlines.
Nor can the possibility of terrorism explain it; that didn't become a central focus of the investigation until days after the plane disappeared. Yet the deluge of headlines began as soon as news of the disappearance broke. Even after Malaysian officials started focusing on foul play, only one of those NYT "most viewed" stories dealt with that issue.
The most obvious explanation for our fascination with the mystery of Flight 370 is simply that it's a great mystery. Our 24/7 news cycle lets us ride along, as it were, moment by moment with the detectives trying to solve it.
From The Maltese Falcon to NCIS, Americans have loved a good detective story. And the likelihood of mass death never hurt any story's ratings. Make it a Hitchcockian murder mystery -- one that starts out in a setting so normal you could easily imagine yourself there (like a routine air flight) -- and you're headed for the top of the charts, or, in this case, the headlines. That's entertainment!
What does the obsession with Flight 370 tell us about Americans' concern for their nation's strength and resolve as world leader? At the very least, it says, that concern is weak enough to be quickly diverted by an entertaining -- or, more precisely, infotaining -- mystery.

Someone is going to a lot of trouble to generate noise. The British Indian Ocean Territory is nowhere near the ping track.0_0 » Sun Mar 23, 2014 11:39 am wrote:Yeah sorry, I thought it would give a zoom in option, here is the direct link: http://i58.tinypic.com/2pt4fhs.png I'm not even sure what it means, someone linked it in soulseek chat. Re: Malaysia Airlines plane missing over Vietnam
When a Boeing 777 goes missing for more than a week, then something is clearly wrong with any of the mainstream take on this.
This opinon is my own 2 cents of course, but essentially Im arguing that anything official you're hearing from anywhere is little more than a lot of crappola.
Im naturally open to reappraisal, yet nothing Ive seen or heard on this thread thus far would yet convince me otherwise.
Other than the suggestion perhaps that LB is right, and the entire "surveillance state" apparatus is nothing like as sophisticated as it is claimed to be.
Which is of course something of a contradiction to the Snowden revelations.

Re: Malaysia Airlines plane missing over Vietnam
The question is whether Turkmenistan needs an extra jet for some nefarious reason. A lot of folks, including the authorities, seem to be assuming that this is a static affair. Whereas it could very well be an evolving event. If the plane were indeed transferred to Turkmenistan under cover of the Singapore flight, it could very well be repainted by now and on its way to one of the cities served by that airline:justdrew » Sun Mar 23, 2014 2:58 pm wrote:Mu needs jets.

Flight MH370: French and Chinese satellite images show 'potential objects'
Australian PM Tony Abbott says there is 'increasing hope' as search plane identifies wooden pallet and strapping belts in Indian Ocean
Images taken by Chinese and French satellites and separate sightings of scattered debris have become the focus of the search in the Indian Ocean for missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
On Sunday Malaysia said new French satellite images showed "potential objects" related to the flight in the seas off Australia.
"This morning, Malaysia received new satellite images from the French authorities showing potential objects in the vicinity of the southern corridor," the Malaysian Transport Ministry said in a statement. "Malaysia immediately relayed these images to the Australian rescue co-ordination centre."
The statement gave no details about whether the objects were in the same vicinity as the other possible finds in a vast swathe of some of the most inhospitable sea territory on Earth.
On Saturday images taken on 18 March by a Chinese satellite were released, appearing to show an object measuring 22 metres by 13 metres about 1,550km (960 miles) south-west of Perth. The release of the images coincided with an update from the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (Amsa) late on Saturday that a number of small objects had been visually identified by one of the search planes.
