Have Russians Discovered Ancient 'Super-Megalithic' Architecture in Siberia?

Siberian megaliths, or mountain?
Are these images posted to a Russian blog evidence for one of the greatest megalithic constructions ever discovered, or are they just a geological quirk of nature, like the Japanese site of Yonaguni seems to be? My votes on the latter, but I look forward to further investigation:

The super megaliths were found and photographed for the first time by Georgy Sidorov on a recent expedition to the Southern Siberian mountains. The following images are from Valery Uvarov's Russian website. There are no measurements given, but from the scale depicted by the human figures, these megaliths are much larger (as much as 2 to 3 times larger) than the largest known megaliths in the world. (Example: The Pregnant Woman Stone of Baalbek, Lebanon weighs in at approximately 1,260 ton). Some of these megaliths could easily weigh upwards of 3,000 to 4,000 tons.

But instead, they want mass death.

We know there are instances today for example of people that 7 or 8 ft. tall people.

My 10 year old son Sam just hit 5'9". His pediatrician has estimated he'll top out at 6'8" or so. Not 8' but still pretty damn big since I'm only 6'1". It is sometimes easy to forget that he's just a little boy inside.
Well Robert Moore went down heavy
With a crash upon the floor
And over to his thrashin' body
Betty Coltrane she did crawl.
She put the gun to the back of his head
And pulled the trigger once more
And blew his brains out
All over the table.

When I think of a 'tall race,' I would posit that the rare genetic abnormalities in humans might be the reason. We know there are instances today for example of people that 7 or 8 ft. tall people. Tall people also have more health complications than shorter people. And, of course, there are the genetic abnormalities of dwarfism as well.

So I would say that Tall people, as today, would definitely have existed in the past, but were they genetic abnormalities, which human DNA seems to have many, or were they literally an off-shoot evolved Homo-Sapien, in the way that there was found a short early pygmy race of Humans?

I guess that's what fascinates me about DNA in general, which is complex enough as it is, but contains genetic history. The abnormalities in humans today could be the product of breeding with off-shoot Human species, tall ones, short ones, you name it. Our own species is relatively 'new'-ish as for as evolution goes. We have over 100,000 ancient strains of virus in our own bodies, and supposed 98% junk genetic DNA.

As I wrote in Chapter 10 of my Typhon: A Chronology of the Holocene Period,

As we have seen, the tropic extends through the Hoggar, the mountain of Atlas, all the way to the island of Cernê in a bay of the Atlantic, so that it is apparent where the expedition of Talib was heading in search of their genii in bottles. They were looking for the lost capital of the Amazons in the land now inhabited by those veiled, seven-foot tall, blue-robed, sword and gun-toting warriors astride white camels—the Tuareg—whose ancestors were conceivably the source of the Old Testament notion of the giants who were finally killed off in Syria, according to Josephus, by the armies of the Assyrian Old Kingdom. And if we are to take the historical sources of the fictional Thousand and One Nights at all seriously, they managed to find it, along with the last ruler of the Amazons. The references to the sea have to do with the confusion of the mountain of Atlas with the palace at Chersonesus on the Mediterranean noted by Stecchini and purportedly discovered by Paul Borchardt, which simply adds support to the authenticity of the story.

The Tuareg are definitely not genetic abnormalities, but simply a tribe of people of unusually tall stature. From Chapter 8:

Descendants of the Atlantes

Herodotus placed the Atlantes of his day in the Atlas Mountains, i.e., the Hoggar. As Lhote says, "the Tuareg may be regarded as the descendants of those 'Atlantes' who were the contemporaries of the Father of History." This is a critical identification, though Lhote doesn't seem to realize it, for the social structure of the Tuareg, the now generally peaceable native inhabitants of the Hoggar who wander the desert and had bloody encounters with the French Foreign Legion not many years ago, is rather peculiar and hearkens back to the Amazons more than it does to the Atlanteans. Again, it is to Count Francis Byron Khun de Prorok (writing under the shorter Count Byron de Prorok), apparently the archaeologist whom Lhote dismisses simply as an "American millionaire," that we must turn (In Quest of Lost Worlds,1935) for a description of this peculiar social structure.

Our first hint from de Prorok of what is to come appears after his expedition finds their prepositioned supplies at Meniet south of In Salah looted:

Chapuis, however, was by no means beaten. We collected all the water we had, and filled up one of the cars, when he took us about fifteen miles off the trail, into the region of the Moudir, where great precipices form a wall of rock, believed by the Tuaregs to be the fortress of the Amazons, ruled by a white goddess: the old fable of Atlantis.

Upon reaching Tamenrasset, the expedition meets with the Sultan of the Tuareg and obtains an invitation to visit their camp at Attakor, which they do for two weeks:

The ceremonial approach ended and we were presented to the Queen and her ladies-in-waiting with a pomp and ceremony that would not have disgraced a European court. Here were the real masters of the land! I was astonished to discover the matriarchate still potent in the world .... The women, with their clear, open faces, were worthy of their dignity; they were open, frank, really beautiful; obviously noble both of inheritance and character....

It was a country upside-down. The men, as I have said, were painted and veiled. The women were not. Inheritance is by the maternal line. The councils are really dominated by the women. The sultan is only the nominal ruler, chosen by the tribes for leadership in war, actually only a representative of the Queen. The name of the family is taken from the mother. She is supreme in councils of war, and the women accompany their men on the great trails, riding side by side, taunting the weak and the cowards, spurring them to their greatest bravery.

From Mysterious Sahara:

This position of power and influence is a direct hold-over from antiquity, for since earliest time women have held an exalted position among the Libyan civilizations. At Carthage they worshiped the strange and terrible divinity called Tanit, to whom countless children were offered up in dreadful sacrifice. Even the name "Libyan" comes from a female deity called "Libya." Queen Tin Hinan was a historic personage―the Eve of the Sahara―from whom all the noble Tuaregs claim descent. The Goddess Athena, and the famed Amazon of mythology probably originated in Africa, and it is said that Helen of Troy disappeared "into the heart of Libya." The last of the Amazons still engage in warfare and to this day handle the affairs of state.

Hence we have the Tuareg―the descendants of the Atlantes, the tribe conquered by the Amazons―ruled by women in peace and in war. Those women, though no longer the absolute rulers of the Greek legends, still wield an astonishing amount of power made even more amazing in a land where the women of the north continue to be subjugated by the male practitioners of the religion of Mohammed.

It might be interesting to compare the DNA of this group with that of the American giants. There appears to be a fairly wide racial variation among them. Considering the legends of Eden and Atlantis, one could imagine them ruling over large portions of the human species, as in the legend of Atlantis.

Keep in mind that the woman pictured is most likely close to 7 feet tall.

It's also interesting that their blue skin--the result of the indigo dye they use--resembles the imagery of the Indian Krishna and other Indian deities, though folks like Godfrey Higgins attributed this to their association with the sky.

I recently worked on a film shoot at this place:

http://www.thehummingbirdnestranch.com/history.html

Right now it's a super ritzy resort hotel, but at one time it was just a little country place.

In one section of the place there are old newspaper articles framed and hung on the walls.

I started reading one of them, and discovered it was an old LA Times article about the place, and how back in the day, when the original owner showed up and built the place, they had found giant skeletons in the area. Like a lot of them. Exactly like what this thread is about.

They were mentioned in passing, like it was no big deal, like finding petroglyphs or arrowheads or something. Yeah, 8 foot skeletons of humans in caves in the area. No big deal.

I wish I could find the original article online, but I simply can't. It was really old.

Gather round children.
When I was a kid, and I'm 64 now, I went for a walkabout.
One time in Ireland - best I can remember it was the east coast, south of Dublin, I went to a small and ancient church, and in the crypt there was a petrified body.of a giant in an open coffin. I was told by whomever showed me around that the atmosphe down there was the reason it was still preserved and intact, skin and all, albeit, black.
Story was that he was a Knight who went to the crusades.
You were invited to to shake his leathery hand for good luck
By giant I mean 7 foot or more.
I bet the committee has long since put a stop to that....

Tuaregs are called 'the blue people' Southern Morocco and are seen as very distinct and somewhat exotic. The more Arabised north of Morrocco is also quite different from the more Berber South - the Berbers tend to be a bit Irish like (travelling on a bus through the Atlas with Berbers doing a bus wide sing a long... epic! - and having a profound spiritual connection ; the Northern more Arabised ones often shyer - more "English")

They tend to have different features. These are Tuareg. They remind me of the Fremen from Dune

the Berber OTOH are very colourful in dress, louder, leap around a lot and lots of them have blue eyes. I loved them to bits.

Wow !. What a thread this has suddenly become :)

I first came across this subject myself a few months ago, courtesy of a Red Ice radio interview.

I dont think I posted a link here, but the show can obviously be accessed from their archives, for anyone interested

Meawhile, In an undue instance of academic dilligence on my own part, I decided to look for some alternative views.

I came across an article which I unfortunately never archived, which suggested that the entire Ancient Giants idea was some kind of Masoncially organised plot, distraction, or whatever, and that most of the giant bone remains, were the fema of Mastadons, or some big dinosaur or other.

From what I can remember, it did make for some interesting reading nonetheless.

If I can find it again, I will post it .... I promise :)

Hey Searcher08, I missed that link. It must be the place.
Only 6 and a half feet eh.
Still, I was shorter then.

Thanks for that

Sinister Forces Book 1 talks a lot about this. Specifically how these folks built thier mounds to mirror the stars and alignments during the period of existence. Very interesting stuff.

Richard Dewhurst, the The Ancient Giants Who Ruled America guy, is coming on the radio right now, to be interviewed by George Knapp. You can listen online on any of the affiliates' websites; there's a list of affiliate stations at the "Coast to Coast AM" site.

Dewhurst didn't show up, so they continued with Melba Ketchum -- SLAD posted about her on page one:
