George Bush/Somalia Invasion - "Doing God's Work"

George Bush: 'God told me to end the tyranny in Iraq'

George Bush has claimed he was on a mission from God when he launched the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, according to a senior Palestinian politician in an interview to be broadcast by the BBC later this month.
Mr Bush revealed the extent of his religious fervour when he met a Palestinian delegation during the Israeli-Palestinian summit at the Egpytian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh, four months after the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

One of the delegates, Nabil Shaath, who was Palestinian foreign minister at the time, said: "President Bush said to all of us: 'I am driven with a mission from God'. God would tell me, 'George go and fight these terrorists in Afghanistan'. And I did. And then God would tell me 'George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq'. And I did."

Mr Bush went on: "And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, 'Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East'. And, by God, I'm gonna do it."

Mr Bush, who became a born-again Christian at 40, is one of the most overtly religious leaders to occupy the White House, a fact which brings him much support in middle America.

Soon after, the Israeli daily newspaper Haaretz carried a Palestinian transcript of the meeting, containing a version of Mr Bush's remarks. But the Palestinian delegation was reluctant publicly to acknowledge its authenticity.

The BBC persuaded Mr Shaath to go on the record for the first time for a three-part series on Israeli-Palestinian diplomacy: Elusive Peace, which begins on Monday.

Religion also surfaced as an issue when Mr Bush and Tony Blair were reported to have prayed together in 2002 at his ranch at Crawford, Texas - the summit at which the invasion of Iraq was agreed in principle. Mr Blair has consistently refused to admit or deny the claim.

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian prime minister, who was also part of the delegation at Sharm el-Sheikh, told the BBC programme that Mr Bush had said: "I have a moral and religious obligation. I must get you a Palestinian state. And I will."

Mr Shaath's comments came as Mr Bush delivered a speech yesterday aimed at bolstering US support for the Iraq war.

He revealed that the US and its partners had disrupted at least 10 serious al-Qaida plots since September 11, including three planned attacks in the US. "Because of this steady progress, the enemy is wounded - but the enemy is still capable of global operations," he said. He added that Islamic radicals had used a series of excuses to justify their attacks, from conflict with the Israelis to the Crusades 1,000 years ago.

"We're facing a radical ideology with unalterable objectives: to enslave whole nations and intimidate the world," he said.

He conceded that al-Qaida, led in Iraq by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, and other insurgents had gained ground in Iraq but the US would not leave until security had been established. "Some observers also claim that America would be better off by cutting our losses and leaving Iraq now. This is a dangerous illusion, refuted with a simple question: Would the United States and other free nations be more safe, or less safe, with Zarqawi and Bin Laden in control of Iraq, its people, and its resources?" Mr Bush asked.

Bush's Shocking Biblical Prophecy Emerges: God Wants to "Erase" Mid-East Enemies "Before a New Age Begins"
Bush explained to French Pres. Chirac that the Biblical creatures Gog and Magog were at work in the Mid-East and must be defeated.
May 24, 2009 |

The revelation this month in GQ Magazine that Donald Rumsfeld as Defense Secretary embellished top-secret wartime memos with quotations from the Bible prompts a question. Why did he believe he could influence President Bush by that means?

The answer may lie in an alarming story about George Bush's Christian millenarian beliefs that has yet to come to light.

In 2003 while lobbying leaders to put together the Coalition of the Willing, President Bush spoke to France's President Jacques Chirac. Bush wove a story about how the Biblical creatures Gog and Magog were at work in the Middle East and how they must be defeated.

In Genesis and Ezekiel Gog and Magog are forces of the Apocalypse who are prophesied to come out of the north and destroy Israel unless stopped. The Book of Revelation took up the Old Testament prophesy:

"And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them."

Bush believed the time had now come for that battle, telling Chirac:

"This confrontation is willed by God, who wants to use this conflict to erase his people's enemies before a New Age begins".

1. I am driven with a mission from God. God would tell me, 'George go and fight these terrorists in Afghanistan'. And I did. And then God would tell me 'George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq'. And there's no doubt in my mind, when the United States acts abroad and home, we do so based upon values -- particularly the value that we hold dear to our hearts, and that is, everybody ought to be free. I want to repeat what I said during my State of the Union to you. Liberty is not America's gift to the world. What we believe strongly, and what we hold dear, is liberty is God's gift to mankind. 38. One of the most -- I think one of the most important and interesting domestic initiatives, which I agree has created an interesting philosophical debate, is to allow faith-based programs and community-based programs to access federal money in order to achieve the results we all want. I mean, for example, if you're trying to encourage people to quit drinking, doesn't it make sense to give people somebody an alternative -- he can maybe go to a government counselor? Or how about somebody who calls upon a higher being to help you quit drinking? All I care about is the results. Sterling, Virginia, Jan. 19, 2006

39. Every new citizen of the United States has an obligation to learn our customs and values, including liberty and civic responsibility, equality under God and tolerance for others, and the English language. Tucson, Arizona, Nov. 28, 2005

40. We have a calling from beyond the stars to stand for freedom, and America will always be faithful to that cause. Washington, D.C., Jan. 19, 2005

41.Secondly, it's really important, Pete, that people not think government is a loving entity. Government is law and justice. Love comes from the hearts of people that are able to impart love. And therefore, what Craig is doing is -- he doesn't realize it -- he's a social entrepreneur. He is inspiring others to continue to reach out to say to somebody who is lonely, I love you. And I'm afraid this requires a higher power than the federal government to cause somebody to love somebody.

42. We don't believe that freedom is America's gift to the world. We believe freedom is the God Almighty's gift to each and every person in the world. California, Oct. 15, 2003

43. I believe that, as I told the Crown Prince, the Almighty God has endowed each individual on the face of the earth with -- that expects each person to be treated with dignity. This is a universal call. Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, Jun. 3, 2003

44. All of you -- all in this generation of our military -- have taken up the highest calling of history. You're defending your country, and protecting the innocent from harm. And wherever you go, you carry a message of hope -- a message that is ancient and ever new. In the words of the prophet Isaiah, "To the captives, 'come out,' -- and to those in darkness, 'be free.' Aboard the U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln, a couple of miles away from San Diego May 1, 2003

45. It's so inspirational to see your courage, as well as to see the great works of our Lord in your heart. Nashville, Tennessee, Feb. 10, 2003

46. As Dick mentioned, we mourn the loss of seven brave souls. We learned a lot about them over the last couple of days, and Laura and I learned a lot about their families in Houston, because we met with them. My impressions of the meeting was that there was -- that Almighty God was present in their hearts. Washington, D.C., Feb. 6, 2003

47. It's also important for people to know we never seek to impose our culture or our form of government. We just want to live under those universal values, God-given values. Washington, D.C., Oct. 11, 2002

48. Yet we do know that God has placed us together in this moment, to grieve together, to stand together, to serve each other and our country. Ellis Island, New York, Sep. 11, 2002

49. The reason I'm -- asked [these AmeriCorps workers] to join us here is because I want you to know, America can be saved one person at a time. Green Tree, Pennsylvania, Aug. 5, 2002

50. Government can hand out money, but it cannot put hope into people's hearts. It cannot put faith into people's lives. West Ashley High School, Charleston, South Carolina, Jul. 29, 2002

Scott Horton Interviews Clive Hamilton

Clive Hamilton, author of the article “Bush, God, Iraq and Gog” at Counterpunch.org, discusses G.W. Bush’s seemingly sincere desire to fight Iraqi and al-Qaeda incarnations of the biblical bogeymen Gog and Magog, the possibility that the U.S. does indeed fight religious wars and the increasingly diverse but still exclusive Skull and Bones society at Yale.

Israel Warns World War III May be Biblical War of Gog and Magog

US President George W. Bush says a nuclear Iran would mean World War III. Israeli newscasts feature Gog & Magog maps of the potential conflict.

US President George W. Bush said a nuclear Iran would mean World War III. Israeli newscasts featured Gog & Magog maps of the likely alignment of nations in that potential conflict.

Channel 2 and Channel 10 TV showed the world map, sketching the basic alignment of the two opposing axes in a coming world war, in a manner evoking associations of the Gog and Magog prophecy for many viewers. The prophecy of Gog and Magog refers to a great world war centered on the Holy Land and Jerusalem and first appears in the book of Yechezkel (Ezekiel).

On one side were Israel, the United States, Britain, France and Germany. On the other were Iran, Russia, China, Syria and North Korea.

US President Bush said Wednesday during a press conference that Iran attaining nuclear weapons raises the risk of "World War III."

"If Iran had a nuclear weapon, it'd be a dangerous threat to world peace," Bush said. "So I told people that if you're interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested [in preventing a nuclear Iran]…I take the threat of Iran with a nuclear weapon very seriously.”

Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Iran Tuesday and slammed the US’s refusal to rule out the use of force against Iran’s nuclear project. "Not only should we reject the use of force, but also the mention of force as a possibility," he said.

Russia has blocked tougher UN sanctions in the UN Security Council, where it has veto power. The Russian president asserts that there is no evidence Iran is pursuing nuclear weapons rather than a peaceful nuclear power program.

Israel’s Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni called for a new Security Council resolution against Iran at a press conference following her meeting with US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice Wednesday. "I do believe there is a need for another Security Council resolution,” she told reporters. “In the past, the need to get everybody on board - including Russia and China - led to some compromises on the nature of the sanctions. I hope this will not be the case this time."

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced Wednesday a sudden trip to Moscow Thursday morning, where he will meet with Putin about Iran. Other topics of discussion will reportedly be Russia’s continued supply of weapons to Syria, which have then made their way into the hands of various terrorist groups based there as well.

Osiris was disremembered, including his penis, by Seth/Set before being re-assembled by Isis in order to produce their son, Horus. Osiris' penis was said to be swallowed by a great fish, so Isis fashioned a new one out of gold. This is also seen as origins of the virgin birth, as Isis was mating with some resurrected form of Osiris, not the real deal. I'm a little disappointed in the RI crowd here. Aren't these the beings Crowley was attempting to contact? Jeff wrote on and on about the book, "The Stargate Conspiracy" which details the persistent interest in Ancient Egyptian religions and cults that followed them. The Egyptian book of the dead is heralded by many "magicians" and occultists alike. Don't you think dragging the image/name of Isis through the mud is, well, angering the Gods? Jonah's Tomb? Ancient Babylon, Sumer, Land of Ammon (an acceptable spelling of Amun or Amen), Syria, Israel, Palestine all embroiled in war?! Think bigger! I can't help of think of that horrific quote from George W. Bush, who in a phone conversation to French President Jacques Chirac stated "Gog and Magog are at work in the Middle East." Who in their right mind would equate themselves with demons of revelation?! I've seen the threads pop up about, well, the end of times, the end of this age and I don't think our fingers are too far off the pulse. Frankly though, the phrase I found most valuable from "The Stargate Conspiracy" was something like, "What if there is no end time and things just slowly continued on the course of entropy. Life slowly eroding from the Earth." Now there's a worse case scenario!

Thanks for that. I've always felt that these forces have been at work in the recent deliberate chaos of the middle east. We had a thread a while back where I speculated that the Museum of ancient antiquities in Baghdad had been deliberately looted so that certain players could get their hands on some powerful items. But of course this is heavily on the "intuition" side of Rig Int. in other words speculation, but it's always speculation that leads to discoveries of all kinds, even, and maybe especially, in science.

These people seem to be more and more brazen as they continue to get away with pretty much everything they dream up.

So yeah, Isis should be some kind of a dead giveaway if only we could figure it out. So thanks for this info.

I think it's a sync to big for many. I am still an atheist, and often rejected any talk of "the occult" or secret societies in relation to conspiracies. I began to change my mind upon deeper research, especially into 9/11.
My first post on this forum in 2007 was about the four 9/11 planes and other numbers/locations relating to Aleister Crowley. Since then I've had my suspicions confirmed on multiple levels just by watching the news. -777 Dow drop, and TWO Malaysian 777 planes may be a coinkydink....but the inversion of ISIS from motherly figure to this death cult representing pure evil is very apparent. We are in unchartered weird times. But I still feel ISIS was intended by the hidden hand to be the most psychopathic group on the planet. Possibly as a ruse to draw the US and coalition in as a pretext for wider, possibly global war. At the very least to create a new aeon of horror.

Egypt absolutely seems central to white, grey and black lodge adherents. To both innocent and questionable secret society alike. It's well noted in mainstream historical record that Washington DC pays heavy tribute to Egypt.
People forget Iraq literally is both Sumer and Babylon. al-Sham/Greater Syria also touches into esoteric and biblical context. There is no end time, but the religious white men behind these situations and their psychopathic puppet proxy jihadists are definitely wanting to see some form of an end time.

The cobra surrounding the sun is known as the wadjet, representing Apep's constant pursuit of the sun god. Isis is often seen nursing her son Horus as a loving, caring mother. Osiris, Isis' significant other, has been equated with all sorts of deities, from the devil himself to Joseph, of Joseph and Mary. On sarcophagus of Osiris, Isis is represented a beautiful bird riding Osiris'...umm...pillar.

I don't even think it's too much in the realm of woo to think the MASSIVE looting/destruction/theft of all of Iraq's ancient artifact museums(as well as ancient digs/sites/finds)
dovetails with men who believe they derive power or guidance from such things. Like Hitler and his real life quest/interest in things like the spear of longinus. Besides Bremmers dessolvement of the Iraqi army and de-baathification, the standdown of all of Iraqs museums is akin to the destruction of the Alexandria millennias ago.

I have no doubt we're about to see the language, syncs, events and things out of leftfield get all the more...well weird.

I think we're missing the spiritual aspect of these occurrences and I'm surprised not to see more interest in Isis, the Egyptian Goddess here.

But it's not ISIS -- it's ISIL.

ISIS is just catchier for marketing purposes.

Islamic State Of Iraq and al-Sham = ISIS. Or just IS. In all of the Islamic State's english propaganda they make they call themselves
(in English) the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham. (least before the switch to just IS, tho they still hashtag heavily with # ISIS)
Only Obama and his pals use "ISIL" to confuse folks.

Im guessing it was always the intention to call this frankenstein "ISIS". Word magic.

We could just call it Da'esh but the first rule of Neocolonialism is that our subjects don't get to name their environment.

Aww...Wombat. Your picking at hairs. Its adumbration, not dialect. I saw it on CNN.COM USA today "ISIS BOMBED" - kinda catches that sweet tone, eh? Got a nice ring to it.

Da'esh definitely seems classy, I know that's what the (terror funding) Gulf states call them. AKA the COALITION OF THE WILLING:)

But if it's truly "ISIL" can we call this the United States of Thirteen Colonies of the Albany and Continental Congress? ;)
