What's really damning isn't revision per se (which is happening here) but the patterns in the revision

I agree with you. But the newer generations will only ponder upon the bullshit that has been stacked upon other layers of the bullshit onion. Few will penetrate it. The television has doomed humanity. The television is a hypnotic device without equal. Babies are growing up watching an Ipad programmed with mind screw. I don't see that this will change.

This.

But what are the layers of the bullshit onion our myths were built upon? Who's to know?

I don't know if you read this thread I happened to have started, but it is worth a look, if not. Not at all because of me, just the idea is fascinating.

That's rich. It's official, whenever I see the FBI take over any situation my bullshit meter goes off the charts.

The funeral followed traditional Islamic rituals, said an attendee. At a Muslim cemetery hours away from San Bernardino, the bodies were cleansed according to Islamic rules, wrapped in white cloth and buried.

What, no "burial at sea" this time?! Where are all the frats and sororities celebrating outside The White House?

Whoa, wtf, this thread has become a total mind fuck, I can't believe how far down the rabbit hole we are going with this one... It must be because it happened 66 days after September 27th, the day Google had a birthday and Obama turned 54 years and 54 days old, 6+6+6

Unfortunate that what Ian posted warranted a week suspension, does seem a bit harsh. I suppose there is a fine line between premonitions and actualities...

Anyway... FBI says there were no social media posts? Very significant....
Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are controlling the transmission.

Latest in the official narrative is that the buddy who bought several of the guns involved will be charged (and Obama is going to visit families of the victims).

The way this story has played out in the media fosters suspicion. Duh.

Maybe the immediacy of the news cycle and the many species of spin doctors feeds the populace that already knows neither the government nor the media can be trusted.

I have not seen much about the grandmother. I have read that the baby, now in protective childcare, was left with her during the events. I am uncertain as to whether she lived under the same roof as the couple and where she and the child were physically the day of the event.

I would not be surprised if there was one or more other shooters that had a major role in the massacre (and feel the same way about the Murrah bombing in Oklahoma)

U.S. to charge man who supplied guns to California shooters: sources

WASHINGTON | By Mark Hosenball

Federal authorities are preparing criminal charges against a man who investigators say supplied guns to the married couple who killed 14 people at a holiday party in San Bernardino, California, this month, two government sources said on Thursday.

Enrique Marquez, a friend and former neighbor of radicalized Muslim Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, who carried out the Dec. 2 attack with his wife, Tashfeen Malik, 29, could be charged as early as Thursday, CNN and NBC reported, citing unnamed law enforcement officials.

U.S. prosecutors are considering filing firearms charges against Marquez, with state gun charges also possible, one of the government sources told Reuters on condition of anonymity.

Marquez, 24, who had checked himself into a Los Angeles-area psychiatric facility shortly after the shootings, had several connections to Farook and Malik and quickly became a key figure in the investigation of the shootings. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, which is treating the attack as an "act of terror," raided his home and questioned him for several days. Sources said Marquez cooperated during their interviews.

During the investigation, a law enforcement source said Marquez, who had converted to Islam, and Farook apparently had plotted some sort of attack around 2012 but abandoned the idea.

Marquez, who had known Farook since they were teenage neighbors in the city of Riverside, legally purchased the two AR-15 assault-style rifles that the couple used in their attack on a holiday party of Farook's co-workers. Farook, the U.S-born son of Pakistani immigrants, and Pakistani-born Malik were killed in a shootout with police a few hours after their assault on the party.

Marquez, who had worked at Walmart and at a bar recently, also is related to Farook's family by marriage. In 2014, according to state records, Marquez married a Russian woman who was the sister of Farook’s older brother’s wife. Neighbors said they were surprised to learn that he had been married, having never seen him with a woman.

The FBI said Farook and Malik had discussed martyrdom online before they even met and were supporters of Islamic State, the violent group that has taken over large parts of Syria and Iraq.

Their attack, which left 21 people wounded, has stirred concerns among Americans about national security and the reach of Islamic State, becoming an issue in the U.S. presidential campaign. The attack came a few weeks after gunmen and suicide bombers affiliated with Islamic State killed 130 people in a series of coordinated attacks in Paris.

FBI Director James Comey on Wednesday said there was no evidence that the San Bernardino attackers, who were also inspired by Islamic State, had been part of a terrorist cell.

Neighbors said Marquez and Farook often worked together on cars in Farook's garage in their younger years but that the friendship had cooled in the past three years.

Marquez converted to Islam about the time that Farook became more devoted to the faith around 2008. But Azmi Hasan, manager at the Islamic Society of Corona-Norco, said Marquez later told him that Islam was not for him.

President Barack Obama is due to travel to San Bernardino on Friday to meet privately with families of the San Bernardino victims.

It is my observation that people are so accustomed to listening to this rattle trap that they don't really pay that much attention anymore. If they want to change the legislation so that they can spy on every last word ever said by anybody and make it legal they wouldn't even have to go this length. Most people would not notice that they changed a few words in the legislation anyway. I wonder why they think this is necessary. I want to know what they plan to do that they think it is necessary to go to these lengths. They already do whatever they want to and nobody challenges it. What are they getting ready to do in the future that this sort of craziness is necessary? That is what I want to know.

No social media posts, no wife visits to the rifle range, no argument at the party. Those early leaks are now known to be false. We'll probably never know who planted them.

Nicholas Thalasinos, "a conservative Messianic Jew," had recently received death threats. Could that have any significance?:

http://nypost.com/2015/12/03/california-massacre-victim-ranted-about-muslims-on-facebook/

On the night before he was slain, Thalasinos — who maintained a Facebook page filled with anti-jihadi barbs — warred online with a Muslim fanatic who threatened to kill him.

“My new hobby appears to be BLOCKING PAGAN ANTISEMITIC TROGLODYTES so I’m just passing this along to warn others,” Thalasinos posted.

His online adversary Tuesday night was a Ukrainian who posted as “Med Ali Zarouk” and who had drawn Thalasinos’ ire with an anti-Semitic rant.

“You will never sucsseed [sic] to make a country for jews,” the Ukrainian had written, “because you are criminals and cowards . . . soon you’ll get your ass kicked, you will die and never see israel as country believe me never.”

Could the outspoken Thalasinos have been targeted as a victim? Not by Farook, but by whoever planted the rumor that Farook and Thalasinos had argued and that that's what made Farook get angry and leave. Somebody planted that false lead. It's only logical that it would be the same people who set up Farook as the patsy.

Generally I can imagine the plan going something like this:

- Surreptitiously obtain Syed Farook's cooperation in a scheme, likely involving Marquez.
- For good measure, arrange for an outspokenly pro-Israel "born again" Messianic Jew to be among the victims.
- Call Farook out of the party at the right time, send in professional shooters.
- Occupy or otherwise detain Syed and Tashfeen for four hours.
- Expertly leak out incriminating innuendo to reporters and call in tips to the police to stimulate the desired response.
- Send Syed and Tashfeen out in a black SUV, right to the waiting police.
- Make sure the SUV doesn't exceed 35mph so there's no chance they'll get away alive.
- Sit back and let the eager, dutiful police force and news media take it from there.
- Follow-up, damage control, as needed

There doesn't have to be some grand plan, just power for the sake of power and preparing for civil unrest while they plunder the coffers.

I'd like to see Marquez charged as Accessory to multiple homicides. Another illegal straw purchaser commits mass murder.

I know but I am still very disappointed in the human race. At this stage of human evolution with the technology we have these people could chill out and just run the show. We have the ability to easily produce more than is needed for the human labor it requires to produce it. Everybody on this planet could be comfortable. Arts and culture could flow easily and peace could be the rule instead of the exception.

We no longer require a human being to produce with its labor every stitch of goods we need to be comfortable. What we are witnessing is a pathological cruelty that is totally unnecessary. It literally breaks my heart to watch this shit show and I mean that in the most sincere way that I could ever express it. I will not get on a soap box with it but this is just so pathological and sad that words cannot express it. These crazy people literally want to turn people into nano filled transhuman robots. What is wrong with these crazy people? WTF just can't touch this show we are watching.

Just in briefly so say that I have no time to post tonight and probably not at all tomorrow either. But I will try to follow developments in this truly grotesque case and also do my best to look in here by the weekend latest.

Meanwhile, someone please post the NYT's retraction & apology. I'm having trouble finding it.

Goddamn, that's chilling.

But my suspicion is, that's pretty damn close to how it went down...
