There was something about his 'roid use, so we can throw that on the prone-to-violence pile...

Oh and the runaway bride/accomplice...Seriously WTF. They talk of charging her with abetting murder, terroristical hate crimes now, and she, poof, vanishes? The largest "terrorist" action on American soil since 911?

Found this bit odd:
“Salman was reportedly living with Mateen’s father in Fort Pierce when her husband attacked the nightclub. Public records list her most recent address — presumably where she lived with Mateen after they married in 2013 — as a 15-minute drive from his father’s home in Fort Pierce.

Read more at http://www.inquisitr.com/3234498/noor-s ... w6SgkWQ.99

?? Living or staying with the father? She got the texts from him while at his father's house?? Has it even been established that she did or did not drive him to the club??

Yes, and what's all this "Salman" shit, all of a sudden? Do they want people to forget who they're talking about, or even that she is a woman? "Salman" was married to Omar Mateen, with whom she had a young son. And she has a first name. And she has been charged with no crime whatsever.

Noor Salman Mateen. Where is she? And where is her (and his) three-year-old child?

A Google News search for last-24-hours items brings nothing about Noor Salman Mateen, except that Attorney General Loretta Lynch claims not to know where The Wife of Utter Evil now is. Is Noor Salman Mateen even still in Florida? The AG hasn't a clue. It's none of her business, apparently. "Don't ask me, I'm just the Attorney General."

Meanwhile... "journalism":

Soon after the shooting occurred, reports surfaced that Mateen had been seen at Pulse Nightclub in the past. According to CNN, he was also there on the night of the shooting. Law enforcement officials say that he had paid the entrance cover, gotten a wristband, and went inside. His whereabouts in the intervening two hours after he left, but before he returned to begin the attack are still a mystery. It’s also a mystery as to why he bought plane tickets for [himself and] his family to travel to San Francisco in July three days before the attack.

http://uproxx.com/news/orlando-shooter- ... of-attack/

It's not a mystery at all. He booked those flights so that he and wife and son could visit Noor's mother, who lives in SF and had been ill.

The FBI killed him and framed him. That much is obvious. Have they now also murdered his wife?

Ever since the attack Noor Salman Mateen has been under the FBI's tender loving care. Last any of us heard, she was also under the investigation of a federal grand jury seeking to charge her as an accessory to 49 murders.

So where is she?

So now it's apparently official that Omar Mateen LEFT the Pulse nighclub at around midnight, two hours before the still-unidentified shooter turned up there and started firing).- How do they know that Mateen left around midnight, by the way? From video surveillance evidence? From eyewitnesses? I think we should be told.

Because, where, then, is the video surveillance evidence and where, then, are the eyewitnesses to confirm that Omar Mateen ever went back to Pulse?

Video of Orlando attack shows shooter firing at those already wounded
By Adam Goldman and Matt Zapotosky June 22 at 6:54 PM

Surveillance footage from inside the Orlando club the night of the rampage shows Omar Mateen firing at people, stopping and then shooting again those who were already wounded, said officials who have viewed the evidence. The video suggests “he was making sure anybody who was shot was dead,” said one official, who like others spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation into the shooting continues.

(...)

Dorian Wayne, who was in the club that night, said he thinks police “could have run in and shot” Mateen, but he was sympathetic to the tough decisions law enforcement officials had to make.

“I feel for the people who were in there and didn’t get the proper help that they needed,” Wayne said. “But at the same time, I understand the cops — they’re human.”

Yeah. Right. Sure.

Wait for the usual transparent excuse as to why no mere mortal will ever be shown that alleged footage: "too graphic". Or the sanctimonious version: "Out of respect for the victims' families".

Where's the surveillance footage that shows him even entering the club at 2:00 am? Does it exist? Or will that, too, be adjudged too much for our delicate nerves to handle?

Surveillance video exists, then?

So now is the time when the board's perpetual choo choo train of infinite cynicism rolls onward to the visual nihilism stage, yes? How we can't really ever know that we're really seeing what we're seeing? (So therefore Mateen was still totally innocent and framed and we're fascists if we presume otherwise?)

That WaPo screed is the usual vomit-inducing tissue of assertions and insinuations and innuendos from completely unaccountable anonymous "sources", but the two shameless hacks who wrote it do know exactly what they're doing and exactly how to do it effectively.

WaPo wrote:"Mateen. Mateen, Mateen, Mateen. Mateen, Mateen, Mateen, Mateen, Mateen, Mateen, Mateen, Mateen, Mateen, MATEEN, Mateen, MATEEN, MATEEN, MATEEN...."

So, still no eyewitnesses, still no photos, still no video footage, still no audio recordings. Nothing but advertising for the War on Terror™.

From the Intercept:

Let's hear those 29 minutes, if they exist.

what we’re seeing are directed leaks laying out a pattern of smearing an individual, smearing a community and getting the government and media off the hook for the fact that 50 people are dead.

Orlando does have a pretty good bus system that covers most of the city. There is also cheap public parking, which the buses also make stops at. A lot of northern cities have metro/subway systems obviously, but the low water tables in Florida make that mostly impractical and would also involve some long term planning that is against the grain for Florida urban sprawl :)

I did not say I saw it. I said it exists. I was just anticipating the next stop on the Infinitely Cynical Lunatic Express, whenever it is that the video emerges.

If There are psy-ops involved here, it is not to portray Mateen as a Radical Muslim.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-florida-shooting-mateen-idUSKCN0Z82LH?

Mateen altered looks, researched anti-psychotic drugs before attack
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. | By Bernie Woodall

On the morning before the massacre at Orlando’s Pulse gay nightclub, shooter Omar Mateen drastically altered his appearance, shaving his head and face, and seemed agitated and surly, said an acquaintance who saw him that day.

Mateen also talked about staying up all night to do online research into anti-psychosis medication, the acquaintance said in a interview. The acquaintance requested anonymity, saying authorities had asked him to keep quiet.

The 29-year-old gunman, who killed 49 people and wounded 53 in the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, called himself an "Islamic soldier" and pledged allegiance to the Islamic State militant group before being fatally shot by police after a three-hour siege.

The FBI would not comment on the acquaintance’s remarks, but several senior U.S. sources told Reuters the investigation was moving more toward the belief that Mateen's motives were personal rather than political.

"It looks increasingly like this may have been the act of a seriously troubled individual whose personal problems dwarfed any last-minute inspiration from radical groups," said a senior U.S. official familiar with the investigation, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Authorities believe Mateen, a U.S. citizen of Afghan descent, was self-radicalized and acted alone in the rampage. He seems to have been a troubled youth, disciplined dozens of times in school and had his aspirations to become a policeman dashed when he was expelled from the academy.

The acquaintance, a resident at the PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Florida, where Mateen worked as a gate security guard, said he noticed signs of deteriorating behavior a few weeks before the massacre.

He had passed the gate for three years, meeting Mateen several times a week and exchanging friendly small talk. About three weeks before the attack, he noticed Mateen seemed agitated and asked him if he was all right.

Mateen said he was worn out from staying up all night to research psychiatric medication, although he did not say he was taking specific drugs.

“He’d been real worried about whether or not he’d slipped into psychosis," the acquaintance said. “He wasn’t as friendly. He was obsessed with researching medication online.”

The acquaintance said he thought it was strange that Mateen would confide to him his concerns about his mental health, because they were not very close and he did not know anything about Mateen's personal life, including whether he was married or had children.

"The last month, he looked worried, he looked upset, he looked confused," the acquaintance said. "He didn’t seem himself."

In the early morning, about 18 hours before the June 12 attack, the acquaintance said he drove up to the gate but Mateen was not there to open it as usual.

In a couple of minutes, he appeared, silent and with a completely transformed look - a shaved head and face, without his usual short whiskers and glasses.

When asked if he was OK, the usually polite Mateen responded: “What’s it to you, anyway?"

^^^^That is very strange but telling. Speaking from personal experience, once my fantastic OCD came back because of a horribly murdered best friend I researched a shit ton of meds. I didn't take any even though I had the bottles of pills. He was clearly trying to figure out what was happening to him (perp or not). Several years ago I spent the night in jail for a DUI and all the people in the holding cell said dude, tell them you're crazy and suicidal and they'll take you up to the top floor where the food is better plus you get Seroquel! Of course I was like fuck no, I want out.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quetiapine

I was so surprised because I had done a lot of research on the drugs these quacks wanted to put me on. Long story short, I was only there a short time (hours) but I was left to wonder why the fuck are they putting these people on Seroquel like it's candy?
There is no me. There is no you. There is all. There is no you. There is no me. And that is all. A profound acceptance of an enormous pageantry. A haunting certainty that the unifying principle of this universe is love. -- Propagandhi
