Weird and bizarre that anyone would support such behavior. That we clearly see in the videos. I don't see how anyone can see it as anything other than inappropriate and creepy.

I don't know that much about Biden. I can see a cultural and psychological basis for his behaviors, without a need to ascribe it to pedophilia. I will repeat that I can see how those behaviors can be interpreted as inappropriate and/or creepy, that's fine.

Agreed; but it's probably pointless to argue it, like describing red to a blind person.
There is a form of cultural blindness and Biden's behavior, or rather the relative non-reaction to it (even at RI!), demonstrates it pretty clearly ~ IMO.
It is a lot easier to fool people than show them how they have been fooled.

Pretty much the only reaction we can have here is contained by our discussion. A relative healthy one so far. Didn't you just suggest this topic was out of place on this thread? Didn't you also suggest discussion should be about the topic? Make up your mind.

I can see that. That he refused the Democratic nomination due to his son's death makes him seem human to me.

"I have to ask, 'cause a lot of people have been speculating about it, does she think the vice president is creepy?" Wallace asked. "No, Chris," Coons laughed. "She doesn't think the vice president is creepy." The clip of Maggie Coons looking slightly uncomfortable as Biden kisses her on the head and whispers in her ear went viral last week. Coons said, however, Biden was simply offering reassurance to his daughter, and that the vice president — who held Coons' Delaware senate seat before resigning to serve in the White House — has known his children their whole lives. "I could hear him," he said. "He was leaning forward and whispering some encouragement to her about how when he was sworn in his own daughter Ashley was 13 and she felt awkward and uncomfortable." And Maggie Coons, the senator said, isn't uncomfortable with all the attention she's received. "I think she's pleasantly surprised that more people have heard of her than have heard of me," he said.
His daughter, Ashley, was born in 1981 [true]. Joe Biden has been in the senate since 1973 (elected in 1972) [true]. There was NO DELAWARE ELECTION OR SWEARING IN WHEN SHE WAS 13 (1994)!!! Biden's six year terms were in 1991-1997 around that time!!!
So if Coons was lying about this, what did Biden actually say? AFAIK, the video with the subtitles attributing the word horny (which sounds like sworn) to Biden only appeared three days ago, meaning that, if Coons came up with a fake, non-creepy version of Biden's murmurs that would be convincing to anyone listening to the video, it was based on what Biden actually said, not on some Internet meme.
It is a lot easier to fool people than show them how they have been fooled.
Coons needn't have been lying. Biden may have been lying. Or he may be senile. When my grandfather was younger than the VP is, he couldn't remember if he'd already mowed the lawn today or not, much less how old someone else was in 1991.

Over the years, Vice President Biden has shown he has an interesting way with words.
When President Obama signed his signature Affordable Care Act into law, the microphones caught an exuberant Biden tossing an expletive to describe the magnitude of the moment. In remarks honoring Ireland's Prime Minister Brian Cowen, he said the premier's mother had passed away, when she was very much alive. And during this campaign season, Biden raised Republican ire when he told a largely African-American audience in Virginia that Mitt Romney and the Republican party are going "to put y'all back in chains."
Earlier today, Biden delivered another cringe-worthy moment as he posed for photos with newly sworn-in senators and their families.
When a photographer told the husband of Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., to drop his hands to his sides, Biden chimed in, "Spread your legs: You're going to be frisked." The vice president then explained, "You say that to somebody in North Dakota, they think it's a frisk."
"They think you're in trouble, right?" he asked Heitkamp's husband, Darwin Lange.
Lange shrugged at the awkward moment, while Heitkamp laughed through the short photo session
"I'm a little too formal, I know," Biden added. Throughout the photo shoot with lawmakers, Biden—a veteran of the upper chamber—was jovial with lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, and he took extra moments to chat up the mothers and children of the newly-minted senators.
He joked with a fit relative of Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., that he could help him work on his "pecks." With the family of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, he was quick with a joke when the senator's toddler fussed as the vice president held her.
