He said she was reading one of his threads in the "main forum," so I assume he means the discussion board, not the blog. Why do I even care about this?

I think there's a pretty wide spectrum of opinions here. We have christians and atheists, mostly democrats but a few republicans, a politics crowd and a deep weirdness crowd. Peak oilers and anti-peak oilers, people who believe in global warming and a few who don't. People who believe a plane hit the pentagon and those who don't. People who believe it's a grand conspiracy, and people who take a far different worldview of interlocking human failures. Probably a few genuine survivors of evil actions, and probably a few schizophrenics and those suffering from delusions of grandeur. And legions of people who don't know what to believe, but want to find some answers.

And a good number of folks working for THEM, to muddy the waters. Right agent Mike?

All I'm saying is, don't expect everyone on this internet web site to be a body housing the other half of your soul.

Edited by: DireStrike at: 3/9/06 12:06 pm

Oh and to add to the dem/repub angle, those who believe both parties are either evil or stupid, but either way part of the problem.

Am I the only one who finds this creepy? Or maybe not even real?

I'd rather see this thread than one more "I'm leaving the RI discussion board but not really and I will keep telling you why I am above all this... " thread.

At least this one made me smile - everyone deserves a little happiness in their life, even if it is a lunch date at Wendy's.

Interesting that the big turn-on is that she is checking out RI. Maybe Jeff should start a singles page for matchmaking.
