Same here... all the other blogspot blogs seem to be working okay. I don't get the gibberish though, just an empty page. I'm using FireFox.

I think this has happened before though, and it always comes back.

btw, jeff, did you recently see the spike lee movie 'the inside man'? if not you should.

Inside Man is the story of detective Keith Frazier (Denzel Washington) who matches wits with a clever bank robber Dalton Russell (Clive Owen) in a tense hostage drama. As the dangerous cat-and-mouse game unfolds, a wild card emerges: a power broker Madeline White (Jodie Foster) with a hidden agenda injects more instability into an already volatile situation.
___________________________________________
"BUSHCO aren't incompetent...they are COMPLICIT."

Haven't seen it

Postby Rigorous Intuition » Sun May 28, 2006 12:52 am

Thanks for the tip, I'll check it out.

Just been reading disappointing reviews from Cannes of Richard (Donnie Darko) Kelly's Southland Tales. I'd like to think it's because they don't "get it," and it's not really as bad as it sounds.

interesting..did richard kelly ever get that passport thing figured out?

oh and the owner of the bank company's last name in 'the inside man' is case (chase perhaps? rockefellers have much to do with chase-manhattan). spike lee starts the film with shots of various symbols in new york city like the bull sculpture in front of Wall Street, gargoyles on buildings..and an interesting little owl over the doors of the bank the movie takes place in..

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has mentioned that he likes the movie (April 9, 2006, broadcast of Alo Presidente).

go here for more info beware of spoilers

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inside_Man
___________________________________________
"BUSHCO aren't incompetent...they are COMPLICIT."
Edited by: dugoboy at: 5/27/06 11:02 pm

I was hoping someone would bring up Inside Man, great movie. Curious if anyone else saw the photo behind Arthur Case's (the Bank owner) desk during the later part of the movie when the investigators are grilling Case, if my eyes didn't deceive me it looked like Elder Bush and his wife standing with Case, don't want to give the movie away, but in the context of it all I think Spike may have been hinting to Grandpa Prescott, hmmm....

dammit franklin, i forgot about that...no your eyes were not decieved. it was HW Bush not prescott. it was like the 2nd to last scene of the movie. its good jeff, you'll love it. especially the past of *name withheld because it'd ruin the movie*.
___________________________________________
"BUSHCO aren't incompetent...they are COMPLICIT."
Edited by: dugoboy at: 5/27/06 11:17 pm
