I don't own a TV. I watch a few shows I like on cable (I have can watch elsewhere). I get most of the shows I like from the internet but even that is only a couple or so.

I participate in a few blogs I like but I'm spoiled. When I listen to minnesota public radio, and it's probably one of the best out there, I get frustrated. I want to participate and the national media, even public radio, doesn't allow for that. What I want to do is to talk to their guest or the host. But they won't let me, or any one. What I get is one sentence and that's it, if I even get on. No... what I am supposed to do is sit back and consume the news they have prepared for me.

I don't want to. I have my own rss feeds and pod casts thank you very much. And often I know the issue better than the host does. But they think they are the high priests of the sacred news. They travel from their desk to the AP machine and sort through the holy of holies and decide what is fit for us proles.

Bull.. I vote with my feet. I don't watch it or listen to it if it doesn't treat me with respect. The sooner these media dinosaurs die off the better as far as I'm concerned.
