Whats wrong with the world ?

OK....Ive gone all squishy and over and above the stupidity and madness of the world. Just a quick survey from a bunch of intelligent folks to hopefully help me understand better ( the quest for learning and true justice for all is my driving force these days ) What has really gone wrong ? I cant put it better than this ; What's wrong with the world mama? People living like aint got no mamas I think the whole worlds addicted to the drama Only attracted to the things that bring you trauma Overseas yeah we tryin to stop terrorism But we still got terrorists here livin In the USA the big CIA the Bloodz and the Crips and the KKK But if you only have love for your own race Then you only leave space to discriminate And to discriminate only generates hate And if you hatin you're bound to get irate Yeah madness is what you demonstrate And that's exactly how anger works and operates You gotta have love just to set it straight Take control of your mind and meditate Let your soul gravitate to the love y'all People killing people dying Children hurtin you hear them crying Can you practice what you preach Would you turn the other cheek? Father Father Father help us Send some guidance from above Cause people got me got me questioning Where is the love?(where is the lovex3)(the love2x) It just ain't the same all ways have changed New days are strange is the world the insane? If love and peace so strong Why are there pieces of love that don't belong Nations dropping bombs Chemical gases filling lungs of little ones With ongoing suffering As the youth die young So ask yourself is the loving really strong? So I can ask myself really what is going wrong With this world that we living in People keep on giving in Makin wrong decisions Only visions of them livin and Not respecting each other Deny thy brother The wars' going on but the reasons' undercover The truth is kept secret Swept under the rug If you never know truth Then you never know love Where's the love y'all?(I don't know) Where's the truth y'all?(I don't know) Where's the love y'all? Father father father help us Send some guidance from above Cause people got me got me questioning Where is the love?(where is the lovex3)(the lovex2) I feel the weight of the world on my shoulder As I'm getting older y'all people get colder Most of us only care about money makin Selfishness got us followin the wrong direction Wrong information always shown by the media Negative images is the main criteria Infecting their young minds faster than bacteria Kids wanna act like what the see in the cinema Whatever happened to the values of humanity Whatever happened to the fairness and equality Instead of spreading love, we're spreading anomosity Lack of understanding, leading us away from unity That's the reason why sometimes I'm feeling under That's the reason why sometimes I'm feeling down It's no wonder why sometimes I'm feeling under I gotta keep my faith alive, until love is found People killing people dying Children hurtin you hear them crying Can you practice what you preach Would you turn the other cheek? It was played at her funeral ( at 16 years old ); I guess the good do die young.

slim, I'm sorry for your loss. She was just old enough for you to know what you will miss. In answer to your question. In our sophisticated societies we have lost the ability to draw simple distinctions. We cannot tell right from wrong. And we allow proven cheats and liars to be given a second, then third chance. Personally I'd like to know what you ask at a much more local level. What's wrong with this board? Full of anti-Fascists, right? "Leftists" who wear their progressive thoughts on their sleeves. A couple of weeks ago I posted a MSM article under a title something like "Windsors and Nazis - Modified Limited Hangout". It was about the Duke of Edinburgh. There were photographs in the public domain showing he had gone to Berlin in 1937 and had attended the funeral of a prominent Nazi. The article, about a book coming out, tried to frame the matter as insignificant, and included a single photograph of the Duke in attendance. For anybody really trying to fight Fascism in its modern guise, this really should have been a red flag. You know the many reasons why that is, so I will not go into it here. But you know what? Not a single reply. It's almost as though the collective embarassment was eased when the thread fell off the front page. A couple of days later a poster I have come to recognise as an honest and gentle soul was replying on a different thread, but mentioned this story en passant - "I thought you'd be on to that, Anti." I had to point out the thread. Now compare that to the sheer sound and fury expended on this board about the personality of Lyndon LaRouche. It went on for months. And it's being started again As you know slim, whatever else he has done, LaRouche has tried to warn of the long-held aspirations of the British aristocracy towards the American Republic. And at the head of that aristocracy is none other than the Duke of Edinburgh. Nazi mourner. So long as this board allows that sort of perversion, that warped interpretation of what it means to be anti-Fascist, it will continue to be intellectually incoherent. I have warned others of the lack of good faith on the part of the instigator. I'm sorry to divert your first post in a while like this, but I hope you will agree that this is OUR world, here on RI, and so on-topic. If not I will remove this post.

I think I know JUST WHAT YOU MEAN, Anti. These is a contingent here who want to avoid in any possible way, discussing issues that may actully serve to lead people to the truth. But Dreams do End don't they? I hope people stop snoozing and start to wake. SM this is so painful. Thank you for sharing alittle bit of who she was/is. It is up to survivors to keep the spirit alive.

Thanks for the replies folks. The Pure die young, which is why I will probably live to be old and jaded. But out of respect for her, and in the company of intelligent folks, I was hoping to glean some semblance of understanding beyond my own. She was taken last year. But everything she stood for seems to resonate even louder within me these days. I hope this doesnt sound like any kind of religious rant, since I truly despise the term as a result of learning how this is nothing more than the profit making/ fear inducing control mechanism that it actually is. Thanks John. I think I know where you stand in all of this. I mean how much pay ( money/ power/ control ) for fellow suffering is enough ? And then, in the bigger scheme of things ; "What have you done today to make you feel proud ?"
