Specialists from Germany's Paul Ehrlich Institute are looking into the deaths of 10 people who passed away soon after having been inoculated against the novel coronavirus disease, Brigitte Keller-Stanislawski, the head of the institute's department of the safety of medicinal products and medical devices, said on Thursday.

German specialists probing 10 deaths of people vaccinated against Covid-19Berlin: Specialists from Germany's Paul Ehrlich Institute are looking into the deaths of 10 people who passed away soon after having been inoculated against the novel coronavirus disease, Brigitte Keller-Stanislawski, the head of the institute's department of the safety of medicinal products and medical devices, said on Thursday.

According to the medical expert, the deceased were aged from 79 to 93, all with antecedent diseases. The time between vaccination and death ranged from several hours to four days.

"Until yesterday we had nine cases; we have to wait for the data from Lower Saxony [about another alleged case], then there will be 10. We are talking about patients in extremely grave condition, with multiple diseases, who were receiving palliative treatment. I have already said that we are studying these cases ... Based on our current data we assume they died from their main diseases, coinciding in time with the vaccination," Keller-Stanislawski said at a press conference.

In late December, Germany launched a vaccination campaign against COVID-19, using the vaccine developed by companies Pfizer and BioNTech. As of this day, 842,000 people have received the vaccine. The first ones to get vaccinated are those over 80, residents and staff at nursing homes as well as medical personnel.

The institute also reported six anaphylaxis cases. So far, there have been 325 cases of side-effects allegedly related to the vaccine, including 51 severe ones. Keller-Stanislawski stated that those results are within expectations and correspond to the US vaccination statistics.

Norway warns of side effects of Covid-19 vaccine on elderly after deaths of frail patients

The Norway Medicines Agency (Statens Legemiddelverk Norway) has warned that those over 80 and the terminally ill may be at risk of fatal side effects from the Covid-19 vaccine, after deaths were recorded among elderly individuals in Norway shortly after receiving the inoculation.

"The reports suggest that common adverse reactions to mRNA vaccines, such as fever and nausea, may have contributed to a fatal outcome in some frail patients", says Sigurd Hortemo, chief physician at the Norwegian Medicines Agency.

In a press release, the Norwegian Medicines Agency stated that as of 14 January, there had been 23 reported deaths that occurred shortly after receiving the Covid-19 vaccine. Of those deaths, 13 have been assessed which concluded that side effects associated with the vaccine may have contributed to severe reactions among the frail and elderly.

As a result, the National Institute of Public Health has updated its Covid-19 vaccination guide with more detailed advice on vaccinating the elderly who are frail.

"All deaths that occur within the first few days of vaccination are carefully assessed. We cannot rule out that adverse reactions to the vaccine occurring within the first days following vaccination (such as fever and nausea) may contribute to more serious course and fatal outcome in patients with severe underlying disease," the agency says.

However, the agency also noted that in the country’s vaccination campaign for elderly individuals, many of whom are in nursing homes with serious underlying conditions, “it is expected that deaths close to the time vaccination may occur.”

According to the agency, an average of 400 Norwegians die each week in nursing homes and long-term care facilities.

“For those with the most severe frailty, even relatively mild vaccine side effects can have serious consequences,” the Norwegian Institute of Public Health says, according to Bloomberg. “For those who have a very short remaining life span anyway, the benefit of the vaccine may be marginal or irrelevant.”

Vaccinations programmes have started to be rolled out across the world to combat the coronavirus, which has killed nearly 2 million worldwide according to data compiled by John Hopkins University.

Norway's vaccine warning is the most cautious statement yet from a European health authority. The Norwegian Medicines Agency noted that the large studies on Comirnaty (BioNTec/Pfizer) did not include patients with unstable or acute illness - and included few participants over 85 years of age.

According to Bloomberg, Pfizer said in an e-mailed statement that they and BioNTech are working with the Norwegian regulator to investigate the deaths in Norway.

Last week, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that allergic reactions to COVID-19 vaccinations are relatively rare. The CDC said that of nearly 2 million people who were vaccinated against COVID-19 during a 10-day period in December, only 21 people experienced severe allergic reactions.

The agency added that most of those people had a history of allergies or allergic reactions, and for the 20 people the CDC followed up with, all had recovered and been sent home.

The first Europe-wide safety report on the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will probably be published at the end of January, the regulator’s key medicines committee said Friday, according to Bloomberg. Vaccine makers are required to submit data monthly.

APID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) - Two South Dakotans died 24 hours after getting vaccinated for COVID-19, according to state health officials on Wednesday.

State Epidemiologist Joshua Clayton confirmed one person from Pennington County and another from Hutchinson County died after receiving their first doses of the coronavirus vaccine.

One person received who was vaccinated never tested positive for COVID-19 and the other previously had COVID-19 and recovered before getting their shot.

When working with medical providers and coroners involved with the two instances, COVID-19 or the vaccine wasn’t cited as the cause of death for either individual.

“The two individuals are not listed as coronavirus deaths,” Clayton said.

The state is continuing to monitor for any other potential adverse reactions as vaccine rollout continues.

The new variant from the U.K. will most likely be the predominant strain in the U.S. in March. This strain has been found in 30 countries worldwide and more than 20 states, including states of Minnesota and Wyoming.

Covid-19 vaccinations refused by one-third of nursing home workers in New York

...

But more than 41,000 nursing home workers statewide have already refused, including 2,378 in Western New York.

"...you did have a high, well I think higher than expected, rate of declination by staff," Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo said this week during a Covid-19 briefing.

Dr. Thomas A. Russo, one of the region’s leading experts on infectious diseases, said the vaccine plays an important part in protecting nursing home residents who often have bad outcomes when they contract Covid-19.

“We know the dominant mode of transmission in nursing homes is in staff, those who administer care, who are asymptomatically infected. If that is the dominant mode, it would be important to protect them so that they don’t subsequently infect nursing home residents,” said Russo, a professor and chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo.

The nursing home staffers who have declined the vaccination, Russo said, “are not taking advantage of a golden opportunity to afford an additional layer of protection for nursing home residents since public health measures are imperfect.”

How exactly do "we know" that asymptomatically infected nursing home staff workers are the "dominant mode" of transmission of an airborne respiratory virus?

Norway sparked alarm last week when it reported the deaths of 33 of some 20,000 retirement home residents who had received a first shot of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine.

At least 13 of the fatalities were not only very elderly but also considered frail with serious ailments, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health said.

While it noted that no analysis had yet been carried out on the causes of the deaths, it suggested that with the aged and vulnerable the normal side effects of vaccination such as fever or nausea could have contributed.

Outside Norway the news raised widespread concern and fed anti-vaccine scepticism, prompting the authorities to stress that no link had been established between the vaccine and post-jab deaths.

In France, of 800,000 people vaccinated, nine deaths of chronically ill residents of care and retirement homes were recorded by Friday.

The national medicines agency ANSM said, based on available evidence: “Nothing leads to the conclusion that the reported deaths were linked to vaccination.”

Other examples include 13 deaths of elderly people recorded in Sweden and seven in Iceland, all with no link established.

In Portugal, a care worker died two days after being inoculated but the justice ministry said a post-mortem found no direct link.

France’s interior ministry on 18 January listed 71 “observations of death” in Europe of people who had the inoculation, but offered no further details.

Was this a response to my question?

On the assumption it was: it isn't (wrong virus for one thing). Whether it's the cold or the humidity that helps the virus spread it still needs a carrier to get the virus into the care home, and the most likely candidate is staff who go there every day and interact with all the residents on a regular basis.

So, deaths occuring shortly after vaccination, possibly caused by vaccine side effects, seems to be around 0.00001 percent.

That is, one in a million.

Last month (December, 2020) WHO issued the following advice that masks are only of some benefit if used in conjunction with a range of other measures and of limited value.

WHO tells us that:

“…the use of a mask alone, even when correctly used (see below), is insufficient to provide an adequate level of protection for an uninfected individual or prevent onward transmission from an infected individual.” [1]

As Dr Joseph Mercola, who analysed the WHO advice pointed out in WHO Admits: Not Clear Masks Prevent Viral Infection’

“….the literature rather strongly suggests the usefulness of masks depends on a significant number of factors — type, fit, length of use, purpose and circumstances — which are effectively impossible to account for in public universal-masking policies.

The science, contrary to the ignorant platitudes we are bombarded with, has NOT proven that universal masking is effective for viral containment, and has instead provided substantial grounds for skepticism of such a policy.”

WHO: Coronavirus patients who don’t show symptoms aren’t driving the spread of the virus

Coronavirus patients who don’t have any symptoms aren’t driving the spread of the virus, World Health Organization officials said Monday, casting doubt on concerns by some researchers that the virus could be difficult to contain due to asymptomatic infections.

The following series of tweets may be difficult for some to consider, let alone analyze. Think about actions -- control measures -- that have come to pass since ~April 2020, and whether or not 'buy-in' would have been achieved without the SPIKE in death counts as seen in all the death tally charts during the early weeks of COVID.

WHO changing course on asymptomatic transmissions is notable and worthy of follow up.

The tweet storm, however, is dependent on the assertion of unnecessary ventilator usage in tweet one. Which is possible, but which is not show here but simply asserted as fact.

The rest is filled with rhetorical questions that imply evil motives, but no effort shown to answer said questions.

Why wasn't Elmhurst diverting? Assuming the claim is valid that they didn't, there may be a legit answer to that. Maybe not. But we won't get it looking at a source that won't even ask the question of the source for fear it would mess up their narrative.

In fact, i just googled that question, and the first page yields results which may contradict the tweetstorm.

Are.we here to argue a presumed conclusion, or to find the truth, as best as it can be found? Because the method employed by the tweeter is not a search for truth, just a search for evidence to support an argument, with little evidence actually presented and thus built upon a foundstion that has not been proved.

The globalist liberal master narrative is the conclusion argued backwards from, the unspoken implication we're to be guided to figuring out for ourselves.

Masks are a symbol of submission to the new world order. Lack of proof is only evidence of the sophistication of the liberal elite, who cover their tracks just enough to create an atmosphere of plausible deniability, a taunt directed at anyone who can see through their game.

Virus death-tallys are also a global coordinated effort, part of the liberal plot.

Noteworthy that these types of articles are coming out now (from the establishment media), verses a few weeks/months ago.

This, from the NYTimes:
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/01/24/us/p ... virus.html

As we (should) know by now, those in the younger age groups are at practically no risk of death or long-term ailments from this virus. Again, "cases" and "death" counts have been misleading and manipulated FROM THE START.

That aside:

Surge of Student Suicides Pushes Las Vegas Schools to Reopen

Firmly linking teen suicides to school closings is difficult, but rising mental health emergencies and suicide rates point to the toll the pandemic lockdown is taking.

...

The spate of student suicides in and around Las Vegas has pushed the Clark County district, the nation’s fifth largest, toward bringing students back as quickly as possible. This month, the school board gave the green light to phase in the return of some elementary school grades and groups of struggling students even as greater Las Vegas continues to post huge numbers of coronavirus cases and deaths.

Superintendents across the nation are weighing the benefit of in-person education against the cost of public health, watching teachers and staff become sick and, in some cases, die, but also seeing the psychological and academic toll that school closings are having on children nearly a year in. The risk of student suicides has quietly stirred many district leaders, leading some, like the state superintendent in Arizona, to cite that fear in public pleas to help mitigate the virus’s spread.

...

And this, from the Washington Times -- there are excerpts from this opinion piece that's noteworthy...

Opinion: People who previously had covid-19 should go to the back of the vaccine line

As thousands of Americans perish daily due to covid-19 and the nation scrambles to ration a scarce vaccine supply, many Americans are appropriately asking: “Should I get the vaccine if I already had covid-19?” The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says yes, with a narrow exception for those who have been infected in the past 90 days and received convalescent plasma or antibody therapy.

But this is outdated and fails to take natural immunity seriously. As a result of this flawed guidance, Americans with natural immunity — including many who are low-risk — are inappropriately getting the vaccine instead of high-risk seniors.

...

Having the infection activates both antibodies as well as memory B- and T-cells, which teach your immune system to recognize the same virus in the future to swiftly eradicate it.

Natural immunity after covid-19 infection appears to last for at least the one year in which the virus has been circulating at large. Extrapolating from research on the SARS and MERS coronaviruses, it could be much longer. In one study of 176 people infected with SARS, immunity lasted for an average of two years. Another long-term analysis of health-care workers previously infected with SARS found antibodies up to 12 years later. Protective antibodies for the MERS coronavirus have similarly been documented to last for at least three years. And while the 1918 pandemic was caused by an influenza virus, the immune systems of those infected were able to make antibodies to the virus nearly nine decades later, a 2008 Nature study found.

Even mild infections appear to elicit a persistent and functional immune response. One recent European study found that people who had mild or asymptomatic covid-19 mounted a “robust T-cell immunity” afterward. A separate French study affirmed this, noting that some people who lived with a confirmed covid-infected person developed T-cell immunity even when they did not test positive for covid.

“Many medical experts have been dismissive of natural immunity due to prior infection, but there is overwhelming data showing that covid-19 reinfections are rare, and when they do occur, the infection is often mild.”

Also, from: https://www.aier.org/article/all-hail-the-reopening/

Excerpts:

We are also getting some truth telling on track-and-trace, courtesy of Holman Jenkins in the Wall Street Journal:

" Top of the list is magic solution X, a national test and trace program. I won’t mince words. A 9-year-old could see the math didn’t work. Covid spreads more easily than the flu. An overwhelming share of cases are asymptomatic or indistinguishable from ailments that millions of Americans suffer every day. In a country as big, mobile and open as the U.S., there was zero chance of catching and isolating enough spreaders to matter.

Many experts said so at the time, but quietly. Anthony Fauci eventually said so, but quietly. All implicitly knew not to get between the media and its imperative that every big misfortune be played as a failure of inadequate government.

Even when the testing data shouted the truth, the press couldn’t hear it. Our testing misses 70% to 90% of Covid cases and yet 91% of the people being tested for Covid tested negative and were suffering from something else. We were never going to make a dent in the epidemic this way. It was a distraction.

...we have actual experiments in openness right here in the US. Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and South Dakota have all been open since the spring of last year, with life continuing on more or less as normal. The results have been no worse and most often better than what we see in lockdown states. It’s almost as if the virus doesn’t care about your political solutions."
-----------------------------

One final data point. I watched the AFC Championship football game last night. Gone were the dreary ads of 2020 that all began “In these challenging times.” Instead we were treated to pictures of happy parties, friends socializing, people living life normally and happily. Even the masks are going away. True the stadium was only half full due to preposterous regulations but it felt much more normal.
