Not all restrictive measures are evidence of creeping fascism, though. If the programmers in your narrative are Left wing technocrats, there are going to naturally be certain distinctive traits of fascism missing from your elite restrictors.

I like the idea that it's Maoist Capitalism we're talking about. That came to me as I was typing it in an earlier post, felt inspired. To analyze the current Capitalist technological moment by its similarities and differences with Maoism instead of Fascism, I think might be a more productive avenue.

Not all restrictions are bad, either. Some restrictions may apply.

Hah! I'm not married.

If you claim he's profiting off the vaccines then it really isn't much to ask for you to produce some evidence.

This is nonsense. He's either profiting off the vaccines or he's not. If he is, post some evidence. That's how you change minds.

If you collected up every Sars-CoV-2 virus particle in the world, it would fit inside a soft drinks can, writes the mathematician Christian Yates.

He's compromised in other ways, regardless of his investments.

Also: if I, a random American citizen with no subpoena power, can't produce "evidence" for you, does that mean he's clean?

Of course it doesn't. This should go without saying.

In any event, absent of any "proof": use critical thinking, taking into account historical patterns, as well as current criminality and rampant fraud/lies among those in the higher ranks of govt. Or do you believe them to be honest brokers for the people?

Note: I said 'higher ranks'. There may well be a few exceptions, even in the upper reaches of this parasitic Empire (I'd love for anyone here to point out 1 exception offhand, however). But not Fauci. Not even close.

In the future, my bet is that Fauci and all the govt representatives/technocrats that pushed these vile agendas over the past ~year will be viewed as bad actors (in the most euphemistic phrasing I can muster), and will wonder aloud how a mass of humans, in the majority, could have simply went along with such vile acts.

Similar to how some may look upon the German citizens of the 1930s.

You may well disagree with this take. Doesn't matter.

So there's no evidence to be brought that Fauci is financially compromised, but now he is compromised in vague "other ways."

Name them.

Your argument breaks down to the claim that you just think he is, and the best you've got to support it is allusions to power corrupts and he has power. That wouldn't stand in a freshman philo or rhetoric course and it sure shouldn't stand here.

In addition, statements like this are the real diversionary measures. As a public employee, there are tons of laws on financial disclosure. Most scandals of pay to play, grifting and other financial crime or twisted interests are caught not by subpoena, but by reporters and sometimes random citizens carefully reviewing publicly available documents, such as the types of financial disclosures required by the NIH and other federal agencies, either because the suspect party has quietly reported something hoping it won't be noticed, or because someone finds evidence of something that should have been reported that wasn't.

Furthermore, the entire premise of the argument, is again, a complete fallacy. You can't prove a negative. "Just because I can't prove he's guilty doesn't mean he's clean." Sure, OK, fine, whatever. Because you can never "prove" someone is clean. There is no such evidence that exists, for anything, ever, anywhere.

I don't know what goes on inside Dr. Fauci's mind or his professional or personal dealings, but I know that without any evidence whatsoever that he's a crook, there is no basis on which to assert that he is.

The pod father, Adam Curry along with John C. devorack has shined the light on all these criminals, on their, 'No Agenda' show. I just don't have the energy or time to sleuth it out for you on a sliver platter. Of course your free to continue to give these fucks the benefit of the doubt... Or you could find it yourself.

Yeah, I'm calling bullshit on that, Griz. There's simply no 'there' there.

So the Twitter post echoes your sentiment, but for what reason did you share it, what purpose does it serve? Is it only to say fear not, true-believers, have faith, you are not alone? We know you're not alone. There's a whole media support-system maintaining the talking points.

Why does anyone post anything anywhere? Why type anything at all in a platform that may be viewed by another?

My reasons are not dissimilar from anyone else's reasons.

Mine are. Dissimilar, I mean. The reasons for why I post and where I post vary, even. So my own reasons are even dissimilar at times.

Why is this so?:

Since the onset of the pandemic, Taiwan's 23.8 million citizens have lived relatively free of coronavirus, recording just 870 cases and seven deaths. Florida, a U.S. state with a population comparable to Taiwan's, has recorded 1.6 million cases of COVID-19 and nearly 25,000 deaths.

https://fortune.com/2021/01/22/taiwan-c ... -outbreak/

At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Taiwan government immediately banned export of PPE, guaranteed manufacturers they would buy all that could be produced, and distributed the PPE free to its citizens (who did not kick & scream like babies because they were asked to wear protective devices). They closed their borders and mandated a degree of individual isolation. They tested people repeatedly and traced infections diligently. They also relieved the economic impact by making up for lost incomes, averting collapse in property prices and the private equity buy-up the US is experiencing (and the bitter fallout from that is yet to be seen).

Within a few weeks, Taiwanese were once again attending baseball games in crowded stadiums.

The Taiwan governement was fucking diligent. The US did the opposite.

It's not rocket surgery.
