I usually like Hopsickers stuff, I think he's trying to draw this Florida stuff out for all it's worth. Shadowy resident sources on some remote south pacific atoll, have stories of huge loot and some pictures of the missing German partying it up with his internet love squeeze and spouting anti-jew jokes... great stuff but he's still is suffering from his failure to quote or link sources, and this snark at AJ from his Sept 6 entry is just ridiculous... ------------------------------------------------------------------- And then there’s the ever-present—at least since Ruppert absconded-—Alex Jones, a second-stringer and also a budding plagiarist, we recently learned, when someone sent us a link to a Google video entitled “Alex Jones’ Flying Circus.” Imagine my surprise when we learned the current Truth Movement spokesman has slapped his name on "Mohamed Atta & the Venice Flying Circus," one of my documentaries, a show he didn't have a thing to do with. Try refreshing the page to see this video. To see more videos visit our home page" maybe it was srubbed from google? Links and the correct search terms would've been nice mr Hoppy. I'd give it about a .01% chance the real Alex Jones would waste his time to put up a "Venus Flying Circus" video on google, especially after the bogus way Hoppy has tried to link GCN to Genesis intermedia in the past. After an initial interview, where he praised Dan and gave him lots of air-time, I don't think Jones cares too much for Hopsicker's work any longer. PJWatson, his webmaster is the one who usually posts media for Jones anyway, and he does it under the name "Prisonplanettv.com", "Infowars.com" or "Alex Jones Productions" not "Prison Planet" as Hoppy wrongly claims(it appears it was really posted under "Alex Jones" by the indications of that dead link), at least that's what Watson is on the payroll for and all... This was likely an imposters work. must have been a slow summer for Dan? Didn't "flying Circus" belong to Monty Python in the first place? I believe the term "Flying Circus" goes back to the air war in WWI. Hopsicker can descend to snark sometimes, but of all the 9/11 researchers I think he's earned the right to it. His Florida work really puts the meat - pork, even - on Atta's bones, yet it's consistently overshadowed by the hysterical and insubstantial claims of spooks, shysters and fools.

Hi Jeff Can you name some names re the 'spooks, shysters and fools'? I think the 9/11 truth movement is a classic 'grass roots movement' of ordinary people from all walks of life intent on seeking out and publicizing the truth. There are a variety of viewpoints, perspectives and theories...and I respect them all as they have all contributed to a puzzle made up of millions of pieces. gc

I'm not discounting his FLA. work by any means, lots of stellar stuff there. Jones would even agree as he has in the past. But Jones has had him on in the past, and he's repaid him by lots o' snark based on extremely tenuous evidence. Seems counterproductive to say the least, given Jone's wide audience he could have been reaching out to, over the years. Thanks for the clarification, jeff. 9/11 truth is one of the greatest grass roots operations in history. Some of the ideas that had a lot of validity in early days proved to be false leads...but that doesn't mean their proponents do not deserve respect. When you work on a puzzle...the process is just as important as the outcome, i.e., you pick up a piece and try it in many places before you find where it fits. Same with what has been going on for the past five+ years....each contributor who 'picked up a piece of the puzzle' deserves tremendous respect for becoming engaged in the quest for truth. To cast a chill on the idea of people coming forward, engaging, even if they come up with a false lead is to slow down the process of finding out the truth. We all have powers of assessment, evaluation and discrimination...if we trust in these powers, the truth, like cream, will rise to the top. Regards, gc

Coming up with false leads is part of the process, but abandoning them is, too, and I don't see enough of that in the 9/11 movement. I also think some people who have appeared to pick up pieces of the puzzle have added pieces that don't fit in order to intentionally confuse us. Cover-up of a crime like 9/11 doesn't happen without a disinformation campaign. And it's my opinion this one has been wildly successful. I agree, there's been a highly active and effective disinformation campaign from the outset. That's made the challenge before 9/11 truth seekers all the more difficult, frustrating and at times, exciting...separating the wheat from the chaff. Again, I feel that the cream will, and already has, rise to the top. Only in an atmosphere of complete openness can people come forward and make suggestions...such as I did today...speculating that the very recent MSNBC report [today] of 'dangerously' high levels of radiation emitting from at least 80 spots in NYC...could be indicative of nuclear waste from 'dirty bombs' or 'suitcase bombs'. Do you think I would have risked this speculation if I didn't feel safe...because of all the risk takers who've gone before me? I may be wrong on my hunch...but maybe I can motivate some other skeptic to take off on a google search in some other direction and come up with a useful link or two. And, I might add, your forum here is an extremely good one to facilitate this and other discussions... with so many highly intelligent posters and very few trolls, thanks to your moderate moderation. gc.
