Mr Chavez claims to have served in Afghanistan ..however there is no foreign service on his DD-214 nor any current medals such as the Global War on Terrorism Medal.<br><br>He states he is a Afghanistan Veteran but its not on his DD-214.<br>I find that quite problematic.<br><br><br>"All of this is very interesting to me it sickened me so that I left<br>the Army after coming back from an 8 month deployment to Afghanistan."<br><br>Fraud and claiming to be a combat Veteran is not appreciated by the Veterans community. <p></p><i></i>

C'mon, my intuition is pretty damn good and this letter simply screams FAKE. I am nonplussed that AJ put it up again.<br><br>AJ needs to read the documents and not jump to conclusions cuz he was stationed on a Intell base as a lowest ranking Sargent..an E-5 .<br>He portrays himself as a combat Vet but thats not on<br> his DD-214.<br><br>the facts remain the same..his DD-214 shows no foreign service nor medals nor signed by an officer..<br><br>DD-214 cannot be issued unless its signed by an officer<br><br>the Veteran does not have to be present and a DD-214 will still be issued but it still requires an officers signature.<br><br><br>Chavez has had over 4 yrs to amend his record to reflect foreign service but did not..<br><br>WHY?? <p></p><i></i>
