This is a strange quote from the website, considering that ALL of Fort's data were taken from scientific journals and mainstream newspapers and magazines of the period. What this really shows is that the modern skeptical attitude of many scientists is just that--modern. I have noticed this tendency in others fields, even in history, where many historians now claim that Pythagoras, for example, didn't exist. This is really debunking gone wild, and paints a rather sad picture of the arrogance and stupidity of the modern "scientific" mind.
