I found it: GDN01. That's the most horrible...I don't know, I could swear there was more.

There was, but GDN01 requested that I delete it. (On edit: Though I can't remember if she asked that it all be deleted, so other examples may remain on the board.)

Hope she's well. That was awful.

The way I remember it, havanagila left because she got freaked out by Dream's End haranguing her, accusing her of being a drama queen only pretending to have considered suicide in order to get attention, and practically daring her to do it. His behaviour was disgusting: incredibly irresponsible at best, and sadistic at worst. He wouldn't let up.

She was a real survivor, someone who'd been through hell and was struggling to get back on her feet, while raising a small child all by herself, under very difficult circumstances.

I liked her a lot, she was smart and insightful and had a LOT to contribute, especially on topics related to Israel and the Middle East. But she was too fragile at the time to deal with an asshole like Dream's End. I was livid that she left, while Dream's End stayed.

Of all those who've been banned or left, at least the ones I was familiar with, she's the only one I missed, and still miss.

Well, I'm not surprised he was banned, he could get pretty volatile and irrational, but I was just curious what the specific cause was.

I think the final straws were his accusations of pedophilia [to other board members] and his promises to see them imprisoned. I'm certain these allegations may've upset some people. That was the last thread he participated in anyway.

Yes. Although I was only indirectly accused.
Personally, I had already abandoned the discussion when this other happened. It came to be obvious to me that we weren't getting anywhere fast.
It is sad I think, because he clearly has passion for his position, if only he could've found a less inflammatory means of expressing it, things would've been better and we likely could've had constructive dialogue.

I have a soft spot for the "christianist" sort myself, being raised and surrounded by them, so I kinda like him anyway. Maybe someday he'll be back and we'll all get along better. Y'know, like at the VERY end of the Bible...

Yeah, I was checking out the Gosch thread (to see why it had gotten so long), and found her posts. Now, that's synchronicity! I was truly delighted to read she's doing well. If she wants to, it'll be great to see her posting more often.

Sorry, Alice, but hava had me convinced that she was seriously considering suicide, too.

I know you and DE didn't see eye to eye, but I miss his perspective.
