Splicing adjacent thread titles

Post by orz »

There's something very wrong with my brain, I keep mixing up thread titles at first glance:

P.S. The thread titles I used were not quite adjacent but within a couple of pages. Hope this falls within the game rules.

But this is illustrating that language is a keyword economy and this was studied and realized before internet search engines showed us all this dynamic.

Keywords are the high-value face cards in our vocabulary deck of cards.
(See "Zipf's Law" about vocabulary as hiearchical association.)

The humor here in this thread is putting keywords in an incongruent context.
Now consider the value of putting them in a different context but just congruent enough to then redefine them in ways more advantageous to power.

Thanks for the post, Hugh. My comment about KWH was made in jest, of course. Concerning keywords, you wrote:

I would say that I know a thing or two about keywords. I was a full-time "indexer" for over 15 years. Perhaps keywords do not affect me in the same way they do other people because of that. Who knows. I understand the power of words and how they could be used to manipulate mental associations with certain keywords. Your examples have not yet convinced me but I will certainly continue to read your posts and keep an open mind. Couldn't you get a CIA KWH agent to blow the whistle? (Then again, some people might write him/her off as a disinformation agent.) Perhaps get your hands on CIA's KWH Manual of Operations?

Now, to stay on topic, I give you:
