It's an oldie but a goodie. Does anyone know what religion Licio Gelli is? Because the book refers to him as receiving a Catholic Knighthood despite not being Catholic. I can't imagine he was Jewish due to his fascist leanings but were there significant protestant denominations in Italy?

That aside, really good read. Sad and frightening.

Yallop shows immense reverence for John Paul I and backs up this attitude with some compelling examples of the man's humility.
