Was that story published in The Onion?
We are getting awfully ARG-y here.

It may seem like a game, but the NMN article is "for real". Unfortunately.Col. Quisp wrote:Was that story published in The Onion?

And unfortunately, the entire case is for real.Dr_Doogie wrote: It may seem like a game, but the NMN article is "for real". Unfortunately.
You know when everyone was believing the stupid story about me being an actress? I WISH that were the case, I wish my dad was alive and it was all fake, it sure would have made my life quite different.
Even 28 years later I still miss him more than anyone will ever know.

aside from the courage part, you don't know how much I can relate to your experience.......

Please know that I never forget any of that for one moment. And I'm sure that I speak for everyone here in saying that. So please take it for granted that you have all my sympathy right up to whatever point at which it would be not so much an expression of fellow feeling as it would an invasive, presumptuous and frankly annoying personal imposition. Okay, Miss Begley?desertfae wrote:And unfortunately, the entire case is for real.Dr_Doogie wrote: It may seem like a game, but the NMN article is "for real". Unfortunately.

Though as long as we're at it, here: Please also accept some of the mad props you very much deserve. Because very few people would have had enough strength of character to have negotiated even one -- let alone all -- of the emotionally highly taxing challenges you have, not only with as much success as you have but also with their souls still whole enough to show as much grace and good humor and as little bitterness or resentment as you do in your posting here. So your excellence is much appreciated. Basically.

I agree some people should be ashamed at how they have treated her. I do but at least I had a reason at the time. The others should know better.

Re: Hughes Arrested for 1981 Alavarez Murders (continued)
I want to clarify, by saying what I did in my previous post, that I in no way meant that I'm upset at anyone here that gave me a hard time then except a few.
Those few who shall remain nameless to prevent the ban-hammer from clunking me in the head, knew very well exactly who I was at the time certain statements were made about me, yet said those statements anyway. Right now is not the time, nor the place to show the documented proof I have of this above statement, but the time will come in the future that I will make that proof public.
Anyway, the point of this post is that I don't want you guys feeling bad or anything for giving me a hard time. Was it difficult for me? You bet. But at the same time I kind of laughed it off because I thought to myself "what a stupid way to try and discredit me, something so easily provable", and I knew that this arrest was coming and that my identity would be proved eventually, so I just kind of left here and focused on my case.

*** name redacted using spoiler function below because i've been called names for using it without proper context in previous conversations.
among other things. in OP ED's opinion. VM still owes me a response regarding her offhand comparison of herself with ***Spoiler:Col. M. Aquino from that one thread about Danny C or something...
that comment alone has informed my paranoia regarding her, and frankly, some of her friends, here and elsewhere.

strange. you were one of those people i was talking about. although you have been alternating between support of the VM (&etc) p.o.v. (mild apologetics) and expressions of concern for her troubling treatment of desertfae.
which i think is weird.

I don't know what p.o.v is, but the last time I saw percival act all supportive of NMN was before everyone finally accepted that I am me, did I miss something here?OP ED wrote:strange. you were one of those people i was talking about. although you have been alternating between support of the VM (&etc) p.o.v. Also: Point of view. Originally a screenplay abbreviation, I think. Or perhaps more accurately: I assume without thinking
I've been meaning to tell you that you look lovely in your icon headshot, btw.
