I just saw that a few minutes ago. Glad he's doing well.

Mazars and Deutsche Bank could have ended this nightmare before it started.

Apparently it is now public. I don't know what to say other than I have been touched with one of those fuckers, PEs. See you guys at the drop point on Friday.
Gah. Mortality and good souls.
I assume they rushed him across the border for the superior health care that awaited. God bless america. I know Jeff would agree.
But seriously, Jeff. I don't know what terror you had to experience because I didn't go through it, but I have seen that shit first hand.
So glad you are home!

to the MinstrelBoy
Hey Mr Tambourine Man, play a song for me
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to
In the jingle jangle morning I'll come followin' you.
Take me on a trip upon your magic swirlin' ship
My senses have been stripped, my hands can't feel to grip
My toes too numb to step, wait only for my boot heels
To be wanderin'
I'm ready to go anywhere, I'm ready for to fade
Into my own parade, cast your dancing spell my way
I promise to go under it.
Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.

I am so sorry!
My father had a series of pulmonary events and angioplasty throughout my teenage years. I remember how scary it was. I wish the best to you and your family, Jeff.

Re: Jeff just announced on FB that he had a pulmonary emboli
I never had one, knock on wood. But I have had an experience with a friend whose mother had one and I was in Denver where her mom lived and I was the first person to show up. She lived in Seattle and basically the reason I am here now (Seattle). Not because of her! But I dropped out of college in order to move all her mom's shit up here because I would basically do that for everybody/anybody. But hearing her scream when she got to the hospital in Denver from a crazy flight from Seattle when she witnessed her braindead mom made me HAVE to say I would handle shit and would pack up her mom's house and bring it to Seattle. PEs are fucking awful and I am so glad you sound to be OK, Jeff.Project Willow » Wed Mar 25, 2015 5:41 pm wrote:Yeppers. You went through that too? Yikes!82_28 wrote:So glad you are home!

Sending my best thoughts for a speedy recovery!
That said, a pulmonary embolism is totally survivable. I was just talking to a friend/colleague today who suffered one a couple years ago (in his early 30s) and seems not to have any lasting health effects. So hopefully this will be the case with Jeff as well!
