Didn't say anything about the conclusions regarding Arbenz's overthrow...
Beto O'Rourke seems like Joe Biden without the absolutely horrid smile and the handsy manner with pre-teens... Awful Milquetoast Man.

Can we conclude hereby that "Russian Conspiracy as RI subject" is officially done & dusted?

I guess those "Americans" represented by whatever survey sample it was. Science!

Loyal Democrats understand that we must rid ourselves of Trump by any means that necessarily arrive at the same ends.

Re: The Russian Conspiracy as RI subject
I'm still a member at DU and post about as often there as here, neither much at all.
Have been a registered and voting Democrat since 1971.
Do not feel can speak my mind at DU and, if did so, would be banned or maybe called a Russian bot
Remind myself daily that DU does not represent either the Democratic party as a whole and probably DU harms more than helps the effort to rid ourselves of Trump and the present GOP.
No place else to go than Democratic party even though it pisses me off.
Think have already typed here about my opinion on the Russian Conspiracy. There is a difference between "collusion" with Russians and with the Russian State. There is more of this with Trump as Trump is Trump and he attracts almost pure opportunists in his wake. IMO the Russian Conspiracy is going to bite the Democrats on the ass especially as there are far more straightforward actions obscured by the present focus.

Posting on DU, of course, does absolutely nothing to get rid of Trump.PufPuf93 wrote:probably DU harms more than helps the effort to rid ourselves of Trump and the present GOP.
(Likewise at RI, but that's not our mission.)
I'm reminded of a Secret Facebook Group* that I was invited to join, about politics, but since 2016 it's all Trump-bashing memes and news. I told my friend I'd probably bring some different topics to the group, he said fine, but "the important thing right now is to get Trump out."
Right. Posting memes on a secret Facebook group is going to get rid of Trump.
* (Secret FB Groups are private and contents are not shared outside the group and don't appear in search engine results. Facebook still spies on you, of course, but your rantings and ravings won't appear on your friends and family's timeline, and your employer won't find out you're a communist crossdresser.)

.
And here we are, 2 years later. The orange-hued beast remains.
Rest assured, there will be a day when he will no longer hold court, to be replaced by a 'Bama 2.0 caricature.
And then those that call themselves "democrats" can go back to their default position of turning a blind eye to crimes against humanity.
Yes, indeed. Per the Maté tweet above, it appears the focus by those so passionate in their efforts to oust Trump have wasted their energy, taken in by network news/print media blarings and misdirection.Elvis:
