For thirty two weeks French men and women have protested against the neoliberalisation of their economy and social fabric despite a number of them being maimed and murdered on the streets of France by 'security' services. I take a year off from a forum without any new members for two years, with almost no meaningful discussion in the rear-view mirror or on the horizon, with no current events broached in weeks, abandoned by the owner, its admins, and moderators, and almost all thoughtful collaborators... and ask a simple question, one already raised by someone else.

And this is trolling?

Or is this a forum with pretty much only 'trolls' remaining and active? ...and defending a loose narrative, but quibbling endlessly over names and dates, and minor, uninteresting details--when the names and dates and details are just that, while the processes that drive all of it remain woefully unreported and unchallenged.

Same as it ever was. After 14 years, I expected no different, but am only surprised that I'm surprised.
