Always hard to lose a member of RI. We -iamwhomiam- didn't often get along or see things eye to eye. But I feel like if we were to have met in person we could have found common ground. I too, want to offer feelings of empathy for his(?) family and loved one's. I feel like the divergent differences is part of what makes RI tick. I'm reminded of my favorite poet, in that of Pablo Nuruda, "My feet will want to walk to where you are sleeping but I shall go on living.“

IAM and I had our scuffles here, but I imagine a scenario where he can reconcile/re-connect with his son, lost tragically years ago.

I wish that for him and for all of us, for each of our respective journeys and lost connections here in the material realm.

Shit...

I'd only just started talking to him thru emails...

Cheers mate. It was good to know you a little bit.

Condolences to friends and family. He was a legend of a guy. Had been thru some really hard stuff and yet he kept his heart open as much as he could.

He was a wonderful person who I had the pleasure of corresponding with a couple times. I am not surprised by this news but sad he is gone. His last words in the last message we exchanged were sage and worthy of memorial:
No one can preserve our sanity, we must do that for ourselves.

sought out an online conspiracy research orientated community worth joining at the height of the pandemic for some sanity. wasn't easy but eventually stumbled across RI after using the wayback machine on conspiracy blogs from over a decade ago.

i'm very thankful to posters like Iamwhoiam who have kept RI alive through the years, and their contributions live on in the archives here as part of that age old tradition of calling bullshit on the powers that be.

This is really sad to hear. Jim was such a kind, genuine person, who I had the pleasure of getting to meet both on the board and over the phone. He was willing to take hours out of his day just to throw some scraps of info from his own experiences at some random Internet guy (me) he barely knew. My condolences to his family and everyone else who knew him.
