Nothing has shifted, except that the boundary of legitimate discourse has become ever more tightly corralled. The quantity and pervasiveness of the propaganda has grown beyond conscious recognition as the scale of murderous ambition of the owner class has become awe inspiring

I'm perceived as far right by the standards of many and also as far left by others, a clear indication that either term is now functionally illiterate. The truth is, I haven't changed much at all. Everything else has simply shifted around me on the tide of limitless propaganda for neoliberalism that we know as our culture. Former friends are lost in a maelstrom of identity-phobia as new friends have been made, and other friends remain true.
