I'm working on reastablshing my own webserver after my very worthy host had to fold his comany due to personal illness, but when I get back online, which should be soon, I'll make my own cathertic Dark Ambient available for the rest of you, although I don't anticipate a positive reaction from more than 5% of the members here at best.

Till then, I'd like to share something I found pretty exquisite a friend of mine contributed to. It's an Ambient Collective called, "Places of Importance" and is available for streaming online or direct downloading. There's some VERY talented material here, and carries a vibe most RI members would find effecaious and highly relaxing. I myself have given it several listens and deeply enjoy it.

That said, here's the link:

http://www.archive.org/details/placesofimportance

You only need clilck the 1st track in the built-in media player on the page to get rolling. My buddy, Tormod Castens, did track 2, Buslett. I might be participating in the next collective endeavor when the time comes.

Enjoy!

Just listened to something called Cold Earth III by some self described SOB.

It was great. I actually wrote a rave about it but then my post disappeared.

So I'll leave it at this, how something can be incredibly relaxing and gentle and that menacing at the same time is beyond me.

Also Warumpi Band - Blackfella Whitefella

And something called Nights of the Living Dead, by a band called Tilly and the wall.

you can find it here

Now its Husker Du.
