One of my good friends - and a damn fine writer - just got detained and harassed by Canadian border police for trying to enter the country while in the possession of a recently won award for bisexual themed fiction.
He was held against his will for 8 hours, interrogated, threatened, insulted and forced to miss his train's departure time, all with no repercussions on the asshole "authorities" involved.
