More Connecting Problem

I FINALLY found the post under Ask Admin by Willow re: how to log in with my longtime username StarmanSkye, using the temp. password 'wingsofd'. Well, I did that and logged-in, but then under Profiles to change the password to my standard and the message back to check my e-mail account to reactivate the account, NADA happened. Mebbe I should have left well-enough alone, and just kept using the temp. password?

HELP!

Problem probably was that the username StarmanSkye hadn't been activated yet. (To eliminate spam I have to do it manually.) I've done it now, that should do it.
