Maybe he's been part of the security apparatus for longer than the four short years he's held national office, which would explain his total lack of remorse when pulling his 180 degree policy reversals... ... I'm beginning to wonder if he wasn't groomed for this role from an early age.
With only a few small but significant reservations about Tarpley's somewhat histrionic ( and equally somewhat LaRouchian) take on late 20th history I would recommend his,Barack H. Obama: The Unauthorized Biography, for an informative take on O's psychological make-up. His view of the man as a coldly pragmatic practitioner of post-modern amorality as informed by a deep philosophical existentialism does much to explain his seemingly callous policy decisions as well his disarming and cock-sure personal megalomania.
Don't follow politics. Unfortunately, the above characterizations
( don't know about a concerted long term project of placing
the O in office[that's a little farfetched]), seem to be
apropos. Sadly.
