Leaked Video: Department of Defense Discusses Eliminating Religious Fanaticism Through Gene-Targeting Vaccine

A recently leaked video shows a Department of Defense symposium discussing genetic manipulation through a vaccine designed to suppress the VMAT-2 gene, a so-called "God gene" that the Pentagon believes leads to to religious fundamentalism. The Pentagon proposes to eliminate religious fundamentalism through its "Funvax" vaccine, which will be administered surreptitiously to various populations abroad. The implications are staggering: here is a vaccine designed to wipe out religious expression deemed harmful by the Pentagon, and while the initial proposal deals with overseas religious fanatics, one does not have to stretch too hard to imagine the vaccine being used here.

Whatever happened to freedom of religion as a near-sacrosanct right, and why would we stand by as the Pentagon uses our tax dollars to develop a method that could be used to deprive us of our beliefs by interfering with our genetic makeup? It's time for a revolution in this country, in 2012 if not sooner, one that deals with not only the corrupt two party system, but also seeks to flush out the bureaucracies whose rank and file create such claptrap plans that rank alongside the most bizarre plans of the Nazis.

it could be possible, though it wouldn't be a vaccine in the technical sense of thee word, but it could be seen as a 'vaccine' in effect. It could be a live virus. It's primary effects would be on the descendants of the exposed population. Virus already modifies the host DNA, the big trick would be insuring the virus infects nearly 100% of the reproductive cells. I don't know if it would be possible to get a virus to infect ~100% of an adult's whole body of cells, so I'm not too sure if such an approach would be able to effect the current population. but you know, new stuff's coming along all the time, it'll probably be possible soon if not already. The big risks would be unforeseen consequences, and the risk of a harmful mutation in your "vaccine" virus. and let's face it... Murphy's Law almost requires that the peace virus would end up causing a zombie-like plague which would destroy it's creator. Well, sometimes things don't work out plot perfect, but still... not a risk I'd like to take... Let's try providing for people's needs, education and free expression first?

Who's that presenting in the video? Did someone just film it and overlay DOD on it with old TV equipment they found in some classroom they had access to? This was "leaked" ? when and by who? I don't remember hearing about it...

VMAT2 is essential in the presynaptic neuron's ability to facilitate the release of neurotransmitters into the synaptic cleft. If VMAT2 function is inhibited or compromised, neurotransmitters, such as dopamine, cannot be released via normal transport (exocytosis, action potential) into the synapse. VMAT2 function inhibition can have many various effects on neurotransmitter function, specifically, of importance is its effect on the neurotransmitter dopamine. Dopamine, specifically, is highly neurotoxic to most cellular structures, due to its ability to auto-oxidize in the presence of oxygen radicals. Sufferers of cocaine-induced mood disorders displayed a significant loss of VMAT2 immunoreactivity, this might reflect damage to dopamine axon terminals in the striatum. Yeah, I think it's basis in reality is questionable too.

One thing that the hacker spree has shown is that the field of InfoSec is to a great degree illusion/delusion, greed and opportunism.

For now, my take is that this video is a true record of a real presentation at the Pentagon - wouldn't a faker have filled the room and not had an interrupter in the audience? - but that the science is of the same ilk as InfoSec - snake oil.

But this is new yet so.... ?

US FDA: CSL influenza vaccine investigation 'inadequate'
US REGULATORS have hammered Australian vaccine maker CSL over its "inadequate" investigation of manufacturing problems that may have led to severe reactions in children given the flu vaccine last year.

In April last year Australian health authorities withdrew CSL’s season flu vaccine from use in children under five after 23 children from Western Australia were admitted to hospital with convulsions and high fevers following their injections.

CSL stopped distributing the Fluvax vaccine and later voluntarily recalled the product, with subsequent investigations saying the reactions were confined to a single batch of the vaccine.

The investigations said reactions to that batch ran at around 1 in 100 children, around 10 times the expected rate. More than 410 adverse reactions in children under five were reported to health authorities before Fluvax was withdrawn, including 67 cases of convulsions, high fever and vomiting.

Investigations by State and Federal health authorities could not point to a cause of the problem, and CSL has previously denied they were linked to manufacturing issues at its Melbourne facilities.

But the powerful US Food and Drug Administration has criticised CSL’s internal investigation as “inadequate”, in a letter to the Australian biotech company released to the public this week.

I couldn't quickly find any numbers on how much Fluvax is worth to CSL but it'd have to be in the 10s of millions a year.

Meh. I'm not buying it. The audio seems to have been completely added later. Nowhere can you see the guy's lips synching up with the sound. The supposed military guys asking the questions? Their voices sound contrived and their lines scripted. When someone comes in and leans in and whispers in someone's ear, you can hear his voice with an audio quality as if he is very close to a mic, but the voice is deliberately suppressed and nonsensical.

The pictures of the supposed two brains are the exact same image, with different yellow marks on them. They are not of two different people.

Then there's this hokey intro and all of that.

Nope, just doesn't smell authentic.

Not that I really doubt that this could be done, or that those wonderful DARPA folks aren't already working on something like this. I'm just not buying this video.

The video claims to be from April 13, 2005. But, the image did not exist until 2010.
