In support of themselves?

There's more productive hobbies out there -- there's also much worse ones, too, so whatever.

We don't allow that shit here for a reason.

Well, Ben Franklin did it...kind of. As far as I understand, he created "sock puppets," female and male pseudonyms. After Silence Dogood--and after he moved to Philadelphia--he wrote again under various women's names. Some of his male pseudonyms: Richard Saunders and Anthony Afterwit, and female pseudonyms: Silence Dogood, Polly Baker, Celia Single.

Not to mention, Voltaire used 173 pseudonyms. Swift used 17 pseudonyms, and Daniel DaFoe used 198 pseudonyms.

Granted, as far as I know, Franklin didn't respond to himself, but, to be sure, if there was an Internet back then, he, no doubt, would've created sock puppets to do just that.

He writes good sentences. Hard to publish through the subs of any major house if you take an avidly anti-capitalist whirl round any subject. It is also hard for atheists not to blame religion for the way their pants rip as they rant. It's all god shaped holes stuffed with dis-compassionate intelligentsia. Myself, I have developed a near phobia over religion. But what else can my atheism do from within a mind formed in a religious upbringing. Really, it is a form of abuse. Capitalism needs the lord when she stoops to her darkest deeds. If The Rapture is True so too I hope is the return of the Imam. Can't everyone have there own personal jesus? Even Muslims? Oh for the Flannery O'Conner of it all, the wise blood of it all, the church of christ without christ of it all. Some of the most interesting ideas are those I struggle to comprehend because of my strong reaction against them before they are even digested. One can make a life of studying poison.

Yep, we've all got skeletons in our cupboards - but how anyone can call into question this mans integrity (of the moment) is current paradigm human thinking, I suppose. It's as though there is a desire, now that things are really breaking open, to put up self-imposed barriers that shield us from thinking through to the consequences and outcomes. This is clearly evident in the stuttering, faltering minds of the anchors - they understand exactly what kind of world we are headed into and that Greenwald speaks for them also, but are unable to reconcile this within themselves.

The news anchor in this clip is what I would loosely term a 'zealot' or 'acolyte' - though that's not quite the right term because of the religious undertones - maybe something more like an 'adherant' or possibly 'tragically, and increasingly comically misplaced vested-interested who is still, unfortunately, misreading the direction of history' Greenwald's studied, determined and courteous demeanor under fire simply highlights the ridiculous nature of the anchors resorting to personal insults and insinuations. It's all they have left.

I can be interested in weird shit that makes exceptional people tick without being seen as "calling their integrity into question" or attacking them, yes?

I believe that to be so, just like coffin dodger should be able to speak generally about the craven culture of talking heads without me assuming I'm the target of his comments. In a perfect world.
