Yeah, there's Rivero, over the top again. I wish he'd think harder before making stupid statements like that.

However, I don't think the statement you quoted equates to him being a "fascist sympathizer", in and of itself. If you're going to try to make that case, you need to book it comprehensively.

The fact is that there are recurrent cases of Jews committing acts of vandalism, forgery, etc. and employing Nazi imagery in the process, resorting to fraud to aid their political views. Sometimes it appears that there's evidence of psychological problems present as well. One head of an American Nazi group was exposed as having Jewish ancestry, which led to him committing suicide.

(I realize that there are those on the RI board who apparently don't believe that there is such a thing as "suicide", by people with controversial political involvements.)

That said, it's ridiculous to claim that Jewish agents provocateurs are behind most Nazi hate crimes. We've had these problems in Sacramento, and the perps have been shown to be Nazis.

I've been sick and tired of Rivero's "there is no Arab terror, the Mossad is behind everything" editorializing for quite a while.

But- the site he runs is mostly a link site, and in some respects it's the best one around. At any rate, I haven't found a decent replacement for it. I launch Windows off of it.

That would be a nice project for someone. They could even crib from Rivero's page to get the links, and I wouldn't mind.

I think that there may be evidence of provocateur activity in the recent Toldeo riots. Not "Jewish-inspired", though- ideologically based. Either as a pro-Bush COINTELPRO project, or from the hard Left, to "heighten the contradictions." I'm going to require more investigation to see what's up there.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 10/16/05 2:56 pm

quote?

Postby michael meiring » Sun Oct 16, 2005 5:50 pm

why pick half a quote from who knows where?

is it taken from an article?

i just went to the link you supplied and have just seen 6 excellent articles, one involving the AIPAC spy ring in the higher echeleons of the usa government?

I have also just read the srticle quoted from a chinese newspaper about a jewish organisation in the usa donating 300 dogs to israel.

most of the articles refer to events around the world involving government corruption.

Is it the intention to paint this site as anti semitic or somthing, because i dont think thats going to work.

I used to visit that site very occasionally in the past, but it does seem very iformative from the 6 articles i have just read.

Very intresting article about the two british SAS dressed up as arabs driving around in a booby trapped car laden with explosives.

I always find when people libel somthing, i need to go read it to make my own mind up, just in case there seems to be 'secret agendas' by people wanting to hide things that they dont want me to read to make a judgement for myself, especially things with a 'quote' and a half finished sentance from a whole page of world gathered news stories from the link they have provided?!!!

So do you have the actual link where the half quote you provide is from?

Rivero blames the entire apparatus of evil in this country, all of it, on Israel. He'll post several news articles of things going on..and then add "All done for Israel" comments. Over and over again. It's a broken record with him. (records are what came before CD's for you young readers. They were larger and made of vinyl. They switched to CD's because of fears of Peak Vinyl.)

He also throws in links to openly anti-Semitic sites...just a few days ago was one to judicial-inc. so yes, he's just posting links, but his little comments always give the same spin. Get it? Spin? Records? Oh nevermind....

Anyway, doesn't anyone find this assumption that all would be well in the US if it weren't for Israel a bit disturbing? Intellectually lazy, at the least.

"Anyway, doesn't anyone find this assumption that all would be well in the US if it weren't for Israel a bit disturbing? Intellectually lazy, at the least."

Yes. Tedious, to boot.

But...in terms of links, his site is there fustest with the mostest...(thought I'd throw in a Nathan Bedford Forrest quote there...at any rate, he's the one who gets credit for saying it first, although I doubt it.)

And I really don't want a link site sanitized of any article critical of AIPAC. I can make up my own mind from the information that gets presented.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 10/16/05 4:24 pm

are we looking at the same site here?

Postby michael meiring » Sun Oct 16, 2005 6:28 pm

Dreams,

Are we both looking at the site here?

I see articles about AIPAC, and he mentions the perpetrators.

I see articles about the high fiving, dancing israeli 'removal men' who were waiting to film and proceded to film the planes flying into the twin towers.

Are you asking for their nationalities to be deleted from the news?

I see articles naming the nationalities of the 2 fake arab booby driving car specialists too!!!

I see numerous articles on Rove.

Also numerous news about mostly american government skulduggery. Why no comment on the mentioning of these nationalities?

To me it makes no difference if the 5 high fiving dancing people were israeli, british, american, muslim or 6 headed martians. just say what the nationality is, thats all, no need to air brush it.

Iwould estimate that the link to the site gives news to about 25% of israeli stories, and 75% of other stories.

The fact someone quotes a half sentance from a full page of worldwide news sources from the link supplied arises ones suspions straght away. Are you sayin the Xan chinese news source is anti semitic?

"dancing israeli 'removal men' who were waiting to film and proceded to film the planes flying into the twin towers."

As a deduction, that's an overstretch. No news story I've read makes the claim that the Israelis in question were either waiting in advance, or that they filmed the actual collisions.

Edited by: robertdreed at: 10/16/05 4:39 pm

yeah, I'd say 25% is about right. Right at this moment, there aren't as many of his one-offs, so you kinda have to keep watching the site to see it work.

I just looked at the last few days postings, and they don't even get to 25%. If I remember, I'll relink there on a good day for his Israel bashing...though I'd think "Nazis actually Israelis" might be a tip off for you.

going round in circles here

Postby michael meiring » Sun Oct 16, 2005 6:53 pm

Dreams end,

we seem to be going round in circles here,

what part of, ''can you send me the link to the half quote'' are you having difficulty with?

Anybody in here responding with accusations of nazi to the said site, can you post me the link with the said half quote? what context is it in? with experience i seem to find hand picked half edited quotes to be, well i'' leave that to.........

the link provided given is a selection of news around the world. no direct link to that half quote.

Its almost as if its designed to stop people looking and making a judgement for themself?

Now i dont know, and i am reserving judgement, but what if people of a certain nationality have many newsworthy stories that particular day? be they british, indonisian, australian, or israeli?

Israel-bashing, maybe -- fascist, no

Postby starroute » Sun Oct 16, 2005 6:55 pm

I think he's actually some sort of libertarian.

And I don't think anybody would deny that some of his links get into very questionable territory. The point is whether you're willing to put up with that for the sake of the occasional gems that he unearths.

I go back and forth, myself. Laterly, I've been finding his site more annoyingly one-note than usual and have mostly been avoiding it. But that may be because with so much focus these days on Plame-gate, Abramoff, etc., he's just so 2003.

But I wouldn't deny his right to exist.

The police found them driving in the company van. [Bergen Record, 9/12/01] Investigators said that there were maps of the city with certain places highlighted, found in the van. sorry, mm. No, I can't do that other than to give you www.whatreallyhappened.com It's not an article, it's one of his typical comments under a link. So you'll actually have to scroll down to the Oct 15, articles and then look for the second story. Here's how it appears in its entirety:

Quote:

Emergency Declared after Anti-Nazi Riots
Posted Oct 15, 2005 09:48 PM PST
Category: ISRAELI SPYING

Setting aside the fact that most modern-day Nazis are Israeli agents provocateurs, note that it was the people opposed to the agents provocateurs wearing masks and threatening to shoot the mayor.

It's these comments that are consistent, even if, as in this case, the news story itself is not about Israel.
